Actor Dylan Walsh, known for his role in Nip/Tuck, experienced a stroke prior to the car accident he was involved in about two weeks ago, according to his representative’s statement made on Wednesday.
The latest information, shared with TMZ, emerges as it’s reported that the actor was found with open alcohol containers in his 2022 Ford Explorer before his recent accident involving utility poles in Rumson, New Jersey, according to law enforcement officials.
As a devotee reporting, I myself, hailing from the vibrant city of Los Angeles, found myself in a situation on August 17th. After an evening out at a local watering hole where I had enjoyed some beverages, I was pulled over by the kind officers of Rumson Police Department. Subsequently, details about this encounter were shared by TMZ, as per a report they’ve issued.
The police discovered a cooler bag filled with unopened and open cans of White Claw Hard Seltzer drinks, as stated in the report.
According to police reports, a bystander claimed they overheard Leslie Bourque-Walsh, Walsh’s wife, shouting something like “Retrieve the bag from the back seat” before the incident occurred at the scene.
In this scenario, Officer Walsh supplied a blood test specimen whose results are still awaited; however, no charges related to driving while intoxicated (DWI) have been brought against him as of yet. The Daily Mail has attempted to gather additional insights from Walsh’s representatives regarding the reported incident for further clarification.

According to the police, Walsh mentioned that he was coming back from a trip to the beach located in Sandy Hook, New Jersey, approximately 7 miles to the north.
According to the report, Walsh informed the arriving officers that he had consumed alcohol at the Mule Barn Tavern before the incident.
Walsh’s appearance at the scene was described by police as ‘very red’ and ‘very confused.’
At the moment of the accident, Walsh was behind the wheel along with his spouse, two kids, and an additional traveler.
According to the police report, it was reported by eyewitnesses that the vehicle appeared to be veering towards incoming traffic before colliding with power poles.
He was charged with a total of six offenses, including having an open alcohol container, reckless driving, and driving on a sidewalk, among others.
Last week, as reported by his representative, Walsh was at home recuperating after an accident. According to the statement issued on August 20th, everyone involved is safe and has since returned home.
The actor and his family express sincere appreciation for the prompt actions taken by the Rumson Police, Fire Department, and EMS, along with the medical staff at Riverview Medical Center, for their assistance,” the representative stated.

According to the Rumson Patch, Lieutenant Christopher Isherwood of the Rumson Police Department confirmed that due to an accident, two individuals were transported to Riverview Medical Center for treatment.
Walsh played Dr. Sean McNamara on 100 episodes of the FX series Nip/Tuck from 2003–2010.
He’s additionally appeared frequently on television series like Blue Bloods, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Superman and Lois, and Life Sentence.
Walsh has appeared in films such as We Were Soldiers, Alter Ego, Deadly Switch and Betsy’s Wedding.
