Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound Trailer Reveals New Character Kumori, a Black Spider Ninja
In the latest update, Dotemu unveiled a fresh trailer for “Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound,” highlighting another playable figure – the stealthy ninja from the Black Spider Clan, known as Kumori.
This game follows the side-scrolling platformer genre, boasting a retro pixel-art design, set within the timeline of the Ninja Gaiden trilogy on the classic Nintendo Entertainment System.
In this game, you’ll take on the role of Kenji Mozu, a ninja hailing from the village of Hayabusa. While your fellow villager Ryu Hayabusa embarks on a journey to slash through the storyline of the original Ninja Gaiden, it will be your duty to protect the village.
Additionally, you take on the role of Kumori, a woman adorned with silvery locks and dual long daggers, hailing from the Black Spider Clan – age-old adversaries of Ryu and his allies.
The description reads:
During a troubled time, the paths of Kenji and Kumori cross as they confront the age-old feuds between their families. In the midst of danger, their sole means of survival becomes harnessing a forbidden power that unites Kumori’s spirit with Kenji.
Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound is out later this year, on consoles and PC.
