Ninja Gaiden 4 Coming to Xbox in Collaboration Between Team Ninja and PlatinumGames
Today’s Xbox Developer_Direct event kicked off in style, unveiling the fourth unannounced game as “Ninja Gaiden 4“, marking the return of this mainline series after over a decade, with Team Ninja collaborating with PlatinumGames – the minds behind Bayonetta, Metal Gear Rising, and NieR: Automata.
In this latest installment, Ryu Hayabusa makes his comeback, yet he’s joined by a fresh character named Yakumo, an adept young ninja who possesses similar skills as Hayabusa, including the renowned Obliteration and Ultimate moves. Platinum Games characterizes the game as a harmonious fusion of the classic and the contemporary, promising fans a sense of familiarity.
In the premiere trailer you’ll find below, you can observe that Yakumo incorporates both Raven and Nué martial arts techniques and boasts impressive acrobatic movement skills. It certainly looks thrilling! Ninja Gaiden 4 is set to arrive on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC in autumn of 2025, with an option to play it day one on Xbox Game Pass.
