Nina Warhurst has declared that she’s stepping down from her role at BBC Breakfast, a position she’s held for seven years on their early-morning news program.
Initially, this individual started covering news for the BBC program back in 2018. Later on, they were elevated to the position of the main business news anchor in 2020.
Warhurst has now disclosed that she’s leaving her current position for a new one as a presenter on BBC’s News at One.

Sharing some nostalgic photos on Instagram, Warhurst announced her BBC Breakfast exit to fans.
She mentioned that she would temporarily put aside her high-visibility vest and hairnet because she is now part of the BBC’s “News at One” team.
Looking back at the start of her time with BBC Breakfast, she reminisced about how she felt: “I was heavily pregnant, filled with anxiety, yet incredibly thrilled to have been given a chance for a few shifts on the national broadcast gem that is @bbcbreakfast.
As we stepped out of lockdown, I found myself picking up the pieces and trying to find my way back to life. My job was made permanent during these challenging times, and it has been an honor to support our gaming community through this tumultuous phase. Every day, I’m in awe of the gamers who allow us to be part of their incredible stories.
As a young person aspiring for a career in journalism, it would have been unthinkable to me that there’d be so many chances right within a short distance from where I lived in Salford.
Expanding further about her upcoming position on BBC’s News at One, she mentioned, “My London coworkers have created an outstanding midday program, and I am thrilled to collaborate with this fantastic team as we move it forward.

“Congrats Neeeeeen,” Morning Live’s Gethin Jones wrote, with Stacey Dooley adding: “Wheyyyyyyy!”
As a gamer, I’d put it like this: “Hey there, fellow gamers! Even Susanna Reid from the rival morning show Good Morning Britain took time to send some positive vibes my way with a cheerful mix of celebration emojis.
BBC Breakfast airs every day from 6am on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
