Shaun White and Nina Dobrev have parted ways after being a couple for five years, and they’ve decided to cancel their engagement.
Both parties agreed upon it, though it wasn’t an effortless choice, as it was motivated by love and profound regard for each other. This was verified by a source close to them.

Television
Nina Dobrev and ex-Olympic snowboarder Shaun White are now engaged, having been together for five years. ‘Goodbye boyfriend, welcome fiancé,’ is what the former ‘Vampire Diaries’ actress expressed.
In simpler terms, an actor from “The Vampire Diaries” and a five-time Olympian began dating following their official encounter at a 2019 workshop led by motivational speaker Tony Robbins. At the event, White shared he was unaware of Dobrev beforehand and was taken aback when attendees requested photos with her during dinner afterward.
They quickly began a romantic relationship, officially declared it in the year 2020, and decided to live together during the periods of confinement due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
In a twist of events, after two unsuccessful attempts to propose earlier, White managed to propose to Dobrev last October. The proposal took place at a restaurant in New York, but unlike what Dobrev believed (thinking it was a business dinner with Anna Wintour, the editor-in-chief of Vogue), White had a surprise in store for her instead.
Subsequently, the snowboarding champion shared photos from his proposal on various social platforms, labeling it as the most memorable evening of his existence. In an interview with E! News back in March, Dobrev casually mentioned that they weren’t in a hurry to organize their wedding, preferring to enjoy being engaged and calling each other “fiancé” for the time being.

Awards
This season, awards tracker Glenn Whipp has closely followed the Emmy competition. On Sunday, he shares his forecasts for winners across fifteen key categories.
She stated that they’re currently savoring their engagement stage, as it’s a unique phase in their lives. You might spend half your life with a boyfriend and then half with a husband, but the time spent as fiancés is relatively brief.
Six months down the line, I found myself walking the iconic red carpet at the Toronto International Film Festival for the grand premiere of “Eternity”. As I stepped out, I couldn’t help but notice the absence of my engagement ring, a symbol that was once an integral part of my life. In sync with this change, I also decided to remove the announcement about our engagement from my Instagram, marking a new chapter in my life.
