Nikki Glaser’s Heart-Wrenching Reason for Avoiding Taylor Swift at the Grammys
Nikki Glaser is a well-known fan of Taylor Swift (Swiftie), yet she hesitated to talk to Taylor at the Grammy Awards.
At this year’s award ceremony, where the comedian was nominated for Best Comedy Album, she revealed that although she spent close to $100,000 on tickets for 22 shows during the Eras Tour, she chose not to approach the pop phenomenon, Taylor Swift, at the February 2 event. She did this out of consideration for Swift’s valuable time and energy.
On the Armchair Expert podcast, Glaser stated that everyone seems to desire something related to Taylor. He clarified he would never intrude and ask for a piece, as it might come off as impolite, almost rude.
She admitted that Swift would likely be considerate, but she chose not to contribute further to the excessive limelight.
She certainly isn’t yearning for that experience tonight, given everyone else is partaking… and let me assure you, her kindness is beyond question. I can easily predict the sequence of events.
As a devoted fan, I sometimes find myself teetering on the edge of fangirling, fearing my enthusiasm might inadvertently affect Taylor Swift’s creative process. I simply don’t want to deplete the energy she needs to channel into crafting fantastic music.
She jokingly commented, ‘I don’t want her composing a lesser quality song because she felt compelled to say, “Nice to meet you,” and comfort me while I cry. That isn’t necessary. I wouldn’t want to disturb her.’
Even though Nikkii was nominated for a Grammy, she still struggled with the belief that she didn’t quite fit among the elite of the music industry during its grandest event.
I get the sense that I’m out of place. I wouldn’t mind if no one gave me a second glance, wondering, “What’s she doing here?” Despite being nominated for a Grammy.
Nikki confessed that she didn’t win, and she felt angry about it mainly because she had hoped to take her Grammy to show it off and say, “I’m part of this group too.
Eagerly seeking any opportunity to immerse myself, I found myself shrinking back, almost unnoticed. Yet, the universe conspired in the most magical way; fans, idols of mine, approached me, breathless with admiration and exclaiming, ‘Oh my God, you’re amazing!’

The comedian left both the live audience and online viewers stunned when she brought up the scandalous incidents involving the fallen star, such as his “unusual moments” and the widely discussed claim about a thousand bottles of baby oil.
54-year-old rapper and entrepreneur Sean “Diddy” Combs, currently incarcerated in Brooklyn, is scheduled for trial in May on accusations made by federal prosecutors in the Southern District of New York involving sex trafficking and racketeering offenses.
Critics labeled the remarks as abhorrent, asserting that they were merely making light of the tragic experiences endured by the victims of sexual assault and child trafficking.
As the newcomer taking the helm of the awards ceremony, I couldn’t help but bring up Diddy while acknowledging Zendaya and her latest movie, Challengers. It seemed fitting to pay tribute to a fellow trailblazer in the world of entertainment.
She exclaimed, “Zendaya is present – Wow, Zendaya, you were phenomenal in Dune! Incredibly, I even woke up just to see each of your scenes; you were simply outstanding!
