Nikki Garcia is seen for the first time since estranged husband Artem Chigvintsev filed for joint custody of their four-year-old son Matteo and spousal support
As a lifestyle expert with years of experience under my belt, I have seen countless stories of celebrity relationships unfold, often more dramatically than a soap opera. However, this latest development between Nikki Garcia and Artem Chigvintsev takes the cake.
For the initial sighting following Artem Chigvintsev’s petition for shared custody and alimony during their ongoing divorce proceedings, as well as a previous domestic violence arrest, Nikki Garcia has been recently seen.
On a Saturday morning in Napa, California, the 40-year-old ex-WWE athlete was spotted carrying her son on her side as she stepped outside.
This week, the professional dancer on Dancing With The Stars, aged 42, who previously and later re-posted Nikki on his Instagram account, addressed the divorce papers filed by his wife. He stated ‘irreconcilable differences’ as the cause for their separation, according to documents obtained by Us Weekly.
On August 29, the day he was apprehended on felony domestic violence accusations stemming from a reported incident at their residence, he indicated the date of separation.
Beyond seeking equal custody of Matteo, the Russian dancer has also requested financial assistance from his spouse (Garcia) to cover living expenses, as well as reimbursement for his legal costs, according to the paperwork.
