On Tuesday, a judge decided that Nikki Bella should pay an additional $3,500 in child support to her ex-husband Artem Chigvintsev, as part of their ongoing divorce and custody proceedings.

In the agreement that was made between the professional dancer, aged 42, and the retired WWE wrestler, it’s stated that Bella, who is 41, will cover all expenses related to Matteo’s speech therapist, as their four-year-old son requires such services.

The former couple will split expenses in relation to Matteo’s extracurricular activities.

According to TMZ’s report based on court documents, it appears that Bella will continue to hold onto the family trusts, including Bonita Bonita and Stephanie Nicole Garcia Entertainment.

The Izhevsk, Russia native and Bella will divide custody arrangements, according to the settlement.

Previously, during autumn, the court decision was made that Matteo’s parents, who are now exes, would jointly have custody over him. This ruling came approximately a month following Garcia’s petition for divorce.

In a court filing for divorce in September 2024, the skilled dancer proposed shared custody of their child with his partner, the retired wrestler from San Diego, well-known by her ring name Nikki Bella.

Garcia had petitioned the court for sole custody of their son.

Additionally, she sought to have a monitor oversee Matteo’s meetings with the individual from Izhevsk, Russia; and suggested that Chigvintsev should undergo anger management training. However, these proposals were rejected by the court as reported by the news source.

Last autumn, Chigvintsev informed the court that he does not suffer from any problems related to anger, according to the news outlet.

After their separation, a court mandate required both Chigvintsev and Garcia to participate in cooperative parenting courses, aiming to keep their relationship amicable while they jointly care for their child.

In October, Garcia secured a protective order against Chigvintsev, who is known for his appearances in So You Think You Can Dance and Strictly Come Dancing, following allegations of domestic violence.

According to legal documents, Garcia claimed that Chigvintsev had tackled her several times and held her down on the ground, with their child being present in the vicinity, as earlier reports suggested.

On August 29, Chigvintsev was apprehended in Yountville, California, for suspected domestic violence. However, the district attorney’s office in Napa County declined to press charges in this particular incident.

In September, Chigvintsev shared with People that he felt incredibly relieved and thankful because the domestic violence accusations against him were dismissed.

He expressed to the media outlet that he was optimistic that obtaining a shared custody agreement would aid us in our progress towards moving forward with our lives.

Chigvintsev expressed heartfelt appreciation to his family, friends, and legal team, acknowledging their unwavering support during a difficult period. He emphasized that their backing was priceless, and he is grateful to all who had faith in him and recognized the truth.
