Update: Earlier this year, we shared news about the potential return of the Nike Air Max Plus VII. Now, Nike has officially confirmed that this classic shoe is indeed making a comeback, specifically in its popular “Varsity Maize” color scheme. Images of the sneaker have been released, showing us a combination of a yellow base with dot patterns across the upper, transitioning from silver to black at the heel. The sole unit, which incorporates air technology, includes a white midsole, visible yellow Air units, and is supported by a black and semi-transparent outsole. As for when it will be available, release details are yet to be determined; however, we can anticipate seeing the Nike Air Max Plus VII “Varsity Maize” on store shelves this fall.

Nike is bringing back its Air Max Plus VII, marking 20 years of their Tuned Air series. First introduced in 2005, the Air Max Plus VII is making a comeback in 2025, sporting the classic “Varsity Maize” color scheme.
