There’s a buzz in town about a possible release of the Nike Kobe 3 Protro “Christmas” edition this coming holiday season. This new version is a fresh, updated take on the classic silhouette that first appeared in 2007. Initially, some fans weren’t fully convinced by the shoe because of its lattice upper and grid design. Kobe Bryant, who tragically passed away, famously wore these shoes during the 2007 Christmas Day game against the Phoenix Suns. Almost two decades later, there are rumors that the Kobe 3 will make a comeback. The shoe is said to be released in a royal pulse, chrome, and white color scheme, which accentuates the diamond grid patterns. Modern technology has been incorporated to improve breathability and performance, with the Swoosh being highlighted in chrome for an extra touch. A significant upgrade includes the shoe being equipped with full-length Zoom Strobel cushioning for enhanced responsiveness and comfort. Here’s a sneak peek at the design provided by Sneaker Files.
