After witnessing such a chilling supernatural horror, staying asleep would be the least appealing option. In her grief following her parents’ sudden demise, Anna decides to move from bustling New York to a tranquil Florida town, where she meets her long-unseen grandmother. Feeling lonely and vulnerable, she makes friends with two locals. However, when she unwittingly becomes involved in their heinous act of violence, she attracts the attention of Mr. Sandman – a vengeful spirit who torments bullies in their dreams, only to consume their eyes upon awakening. To save herself from this gory curse, Anna must set things right before she falls victim to it.
