Nicole Young Breaks Silence on Selling Sunset Return Amid Chrishell Stause Feud!

Nicole Young has spoken openly about her plans regarding Selling Sunset following the news that she took a hiatus from shooting, due to her ongoing disagreement with Chrishell Stause.

Last November, during a dinner among the cast, a tense argument erupted, as reported by TMZ. This event led Jason Oppenheim to have a private discussion with the real estate agent, advising her to temporarily withdraw from the filming of season nine.

39-year-old Nicole and her partner, Travis, found themselves in a series of events that started shortly after Nicole joined the Netflix show during its sixth season.

In an interview with Us Weekly on Thursday, Young provided information about her current situation and hinted at her plans for future filming.

She clarified to the media that she was assured by the production team in a recent conversation two days prior, stating unequivocally that she has not been dismissed from the cast.

Instead, they decided to postpone the filming process until next week, ensuring a safer environment for me by avoiding potentially volatile set circumstances.

Nevertheless, Nicole confessed that she’s yet undecided about carrying on with filming in this type of setting, particularly given the numerous frustrating inconsistencies.

The star went on to say that ‘Selling Sunset’ has provided a fantastic experience and quite an adventure, yet it doesn’t define my life or who I am.

‘Outside of this performance, I have a rich, attractive life that isn’t shaped by scripts or narratives. Fortunately, in the real world, my genuine self and experiences can’t be manipulated or misrepresented to present me in an unfavorable light for a contrived storyline.’

After her meeting with Jason and a break from filming, it’s said that Young hasn’t filmed any additional scenes since that time.

Previously, in September before the filming of the ninth season started, Stause made it clear that she wouldn’t rejoin Selling Sunset if Nicole remained part of the show.

Following the initial announcement, Chrishell subsequently amended her statement to indicate that she would carry on with the reality show only if a ‘zero’ were included in her payment.

In an October 2024 TikTok post, Stause declared, ‘Ultimately, it’s clear that I hold deep feelings for her which I fully endorse, and I don’t retract anything I said.’

I fully agree with everything you’ve said. But remember, I’m a businesswoman, so I reserve the right to reconsider my stance if you present an argument that significantly increases the potential profit or value.

The celebrity from reality TV responded by saying, “Here’s the thing, I genuinely dislike her. But if you’re offering a huge amount of money for me to tell her that directly, then let’s just get the payment sorted out.

Towards the end of last year, in November, news emerged stating that Stause and Young were once again shooting for season nine.

Before Chrishell made her ultimatum, it became apparent that Nicole had already agreed to come back to the show.

It seems that Chrishell decided to stay on the show, as it appears the producers might not be ready to remove Nicole.

In the course of season six, Nicole alleged that Chrishell was claiming credit for a property deal that Nicole herself had earlier handled.

Since then, they’ve had several back-and-forth encounters, culminating in Chrishell alleging that Nicole was using drugs.

In September, the eighth season kicked off with a trailer revealing that Stause had called Young a “snake” and accused him of telling a “despicable lie” about her close friend, Emma Hernan.

It was later uncovered that the deception was Hernan’s claim of having an affair with another man who was already married.

A significant backlash ensued after the agents received previews of the upcoming episodes, with Chrishell stating that her friend Emma was taken aback by a supposedly vile and entirely untrue allegation.

During season eight, Nicole hinted that Emma was in a romantic relationship with a man who was already married.

In a heated series of posts on social media, Chrishell expressed her intention to leave the popular show and swore off working with Nicole in future projects. She also criticized the production company for failing to provide Emma with a chance to respond to certain accusations.

Emma recently talked about the rumor and its aftermath in an interview with Vulture, where she pondered if we are still providing platforms to people who are telling lies for the sake of getting attention.

As a devoted admirer, let me set the record straight. I’m not one to mince words, so here goes: Nicole is absolutely fantastic, and any suggestion to the contrary is utterly baseless. The recent gossip about her is nothing but a figment of someone’s overactive imagination. I’ve got the inside scoop on what she was referring to, and trust me, it’s far from anything negative. She’s just as amazing as ever!

Initially, in the year 2021, I displayed some properties to this individual, and eventually, they expressed interest in investing in my empanada business. However, I declined their offer, and no further actions followed, as she clarified.

After the blonde issued an apology for engaging with a disrespectful Instagram comment regarding Chrishell’s sexual orientation, the two real estate agents reached a short-term understanding.

Chrishell and Australian musician G Flip tied the knot in May 2023.

On a Selling Sunset reunion show, Chrishell Stause revealed her romantic involvement with G Flip, an individual who identifies as non-binary and prefers they/them pronouns. Since then, she has become a strong champion, using her platform to support both G Flip and the LGBTQ+ community.

Previously on Selling Sunset, the show’s ex-star Maya Vander, who unexpectedly appeared last season, has stood up for Chrishell Stause (Young) and advocated for her to receive another opportunity, stating that she was wronged for liking a potentially homophobic remark.

Later on, Nicole asserted that her apology to Chrishell during the season seven reunion was omitted, however, she emphasized confidently: ‘Without a doubt, I did apologize to her!’

In a conversation with DailyMail.com, Maya expressed her thoughts on Nicole’s behavior, saying: ‘It seems to me that it was simply a case of misunderstanding.’

It seems that based on my understanding, someone made a comment on Instagram that was clearly supportive of Nicole while not being very kind towards Chrishell. Nicole, perhaps unknowingly, liked this comment.

I believe she didn’t genuinely mean to like the comment concerning Chrishell’s hate. Instead, I suspect she was impulsively liking any comment expressing affection towards someone. However, she should have given the situation a moment’s thought.

In simpler terms, Selling Sunset is a show that delves into the personal and professional lives of top-tier real estate brokers working for The Oppenheim Group, a prestigious real estate agency based in LA.

Season 8 of the show was released on September 6, 2024 on Netflix.

By December 2024, it had been officially announced that the series would continue for another season, which is now in production.
