2025 found me without a moment’s respite, diving headfirst into an intense workout routine, side by side with Nicole Scherzinger and Thom Evans.
On Wednesday, they returned to the gym, only a few hours following their New Year’s Eve festivities with companions at an elegant eatery in Manhattan.
In 2019, Nicole and Thom, who initially crossed paths on the TV show The X Factor: Celebrity, gathered at the Michelin-starred COTE Korean Steakhouse along with pianist Chloe Flower and entrepreneur Mike Sepso.
Later on, renowned actress from Sunset Boulevard, Patti LuPone, joined the ensemble. Notably, Nicole had taken over her role in a recent revival of the Andrew Lloyd Webber musical on Broadway.
The next morning, Nicole and Thom seemed brimming with vitality while they navigated various free workout regimes at the gym.
As a devoted admirer, I can hardly contain my excitement to share the news that none other than the radiant Nicole has graced the stage as the iconic Norma Desmond in Lloyd Webber’s captivating reinterpretation of the classic musical! This mesmerizing production has swept through the critics and attracted a glittering array of A-list celebrities. I simply can’t wait to witness this unforgettable performance!
The play is modeled after director Billy Wilder’s iconic 1950 film and made its debut on London’s West End in 1993 with Patti Lupone portraying Norma Desmond. Later, in 1994, Glenn Close took over the role for the Broadway run.
In 2016, I made my way back to the West End for its revival, and then again to Broadway the following year in 2017. Interestingly, in 2023, it was Nicole who took center stage at the West End’s revival.
She won the Laurence Olivier Award for Best Actress in a Musical, and after a profitable preliminary performance that earned $1 million in its first week, the production officially premiered at the St. James Theatre in October.
I can’t help but brag about the fact that I, a die-hard fan, have been witnessing Nicole’s extraordinary Broadway debut, and let me tell you, it’s been nothing short of breathtaking! In fact, as People magazine reports, one standing ovation she received was an astounding six minutes long. Simply incredible!
Previously, I learned from The Sun that last year, theatre leaders engaged the acclaimed movement director, Ingrid Mackinnon, to aid me, specifically in preparing for my intimately choreographed scenes opposite my fellow actor, Tom Francis.
A source from the program shared with the press that ‘it’s essential to have intimacy coordinators present, as it ensures actors can work in a secure and comfortable environment with their fellow cast members.’

A mentor works diligently to keep boundaries clear, thereby preventing instances of sexual misconduct within the realm of the entertainment industry.
Regardless of her highly praised stage appearances, Nicole faced jeers following a recent Broadway performance, as her backing of Donald Trump became public knowledge.
In December, as the main actress concluded her portrayal of Norma Desmond on stage in New York City, the audience made their appreciation clear by applauding loudly.
Amidst general applause, some discordant boos could be heard too, following the recent disclosure of Nicole’s support for the MAGA movement.
The musician, known for her controversial political views, faced criticism following two questionable social media posts. Firstly, she praised Russell Brand for his MAGA-inspired religious headgear, and secondly, she endorsed a post by Robert F Kennedy Jr celebrating the Trump administration.
She later broke her silence over the furor, taking to her Instagram story in a word salad apology.
The contrasting views held by Scherzinger on certain issues didn’t manage to calm down the indignation felt by progressive individuals who were fiercely opposed to her opinions. Some supporters of the MAGA movement also expressed frustration over what they perceived as her inconsistency in stance.

It’s a painful irony, I find myself in a position of prosperity, my cup runneth over, and yet, it seems that those around me fail to recognize my worth. I am brimming with potential, overflowing with gifts to bestow, but I am met with indifference, rejection, and the cold words, “Your time has passed.” The cruel twist is that I find myself at the pinnacle of my life, only to be cast aside by those who once valued me. This experience has taught me the harsh reality that sometimes, even when we are at our best, we can still feel discarded and dismissed.
