Nicole Kidman’s Hair Transformation: Long Locks Return After Pixie Cut Speculation at Met Gala

On a noteworthy occasion last Friday at the Country Music Awards, Nicole Kidman left her admirers astounded once more by sporting an impressive change in her hairstyle, accompanied by her partner, Keith Urban.

As I stepped into the vibrant atmosphere of the Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas, accompanied by the beaming couple, my eyes couldn’t help but wander away from their evident affection towards the single captivating sight that had everyone around us enthralled.

At this year’s gathering, the Australian actress, who is now 57 years old, showcased a stunningly long hairstyle. This was only a few days after she caused quite a stir with her fresh pixie cut at the 2025 Met Gala, which took place on Tuesday.

There’s been lots of talk this week suggesting that the Hollywood star might have worn a wig for their first appearance at the fashion event.

Daily Mail Australia’s own hair specialist, who is an insider, stated that the trendy short hairstyle was achieved not just with regular haircuts but also through a clever blend of her natural hair and hair extensions, which she referred to as ‘magic’ for hair.

It appears that Nicole chose to maintain an air of mystery by returning to her long, blonde hairstyle upon attending the country music event.

Nicole combined a surprised expression with a sleeveless, tailored Monse top that boasted a high neckline reminiscent of a turtleneck and a subtle, shiny finish.

Beneath the shirt was a pair of black slacks with cloth draping over her hips on either side. 

Instead of piling on numerous accessories, the celebrity known as Babygirl chose a more understated look. She slipped into a pair of sleek black pointed shoes and went with a simple black-wrapped wristwatch and just a few sparkling silver rings.

Simultaneously, Keith ensured to coordinate with his wife by donning a black outfit of his own. He chose a button-up shirt that remained unbuttoned to display his many tattoos proudly.

She matched the dress with black trousers and similar heavy-soled boots, and chose a straightforward watch to complement her ensemble.
