Nicole Kidman’s daughter Sunday Rose, 17, flaunts her toned midriff in a cropped leather jacket as she steps out for the Dior show during Paris Fashion Week

Sunday Rose wowed as she stepped out for the Dior show during Paris Fashion Week on Monday.

Nicole Kidman’s 17-year-old daughter looked chic and fashionable in a short leather jacket, which highlighted her fit stomach.

She paired the jacket with grey cargo trousers and chunky black boots for a street-chic vibe.

The nepo baby accessorised with a pink Christian Dior Saddle bag and black aviator sunglasses.

The teen appeared in high spirits as she made her way to the show in the City of Love.

Sunday Rose is quickly becoming a regular in the modeling world.

Last year she landed a major campaign with the Italian luxury fashion house Miu Miu.

She starred in the brand’s Spring/Summer 2025 ‘Duets’ campaign with actress Joey King, a former co-star, and Chinese actress Liu Haocun.

This campaign launched three months after she faced online criticism following her first runway show at Paris Fashion Week in October.

She kicked off the Miu Miu Spring-Summer 2025 fashion show in Paris, with celebrities like Willem Dafoe and Hillary Swank in the audience.

She walked the runway alongside other celebrity children, including Amelia Grey Hamlin (daughter of Harry Hamlin and Lisa Rinna) and Eliot Sumner, whose parents are musician Sting and Trudy Styler.

Sunday Rose arrived wearing a simple white dress – the very same one featured in the campaign photos – along with gray leg warmers and black heels.

Although Nicole supported her daughter both at the fashion show and afterward, Sunday Rose’s runway walk received a lot of criticism online.

Some advised her to try runway training, but others criticized the growing number of models who gained the job through family connections.

A video of Sunday Rose angrily stomping her foot quickly became popular on TikTok, and many viewers criticized her actions, with some even suggesting she should consider a different line of work.

Someone suggested she try painting or acting, saying modeling isn’t the right path for her. Another person agreed, pointing out there are plenty of other options available.

‘I can hear the heels slapping the floor,’ another person critiqued.

A fashion enthusiast expressed frustration with the industry’s tendency to hire conventionally attractive individuals with famous connections who lack runway presence. They argued for prioritizing naturally beautiful, undiscovered models from developing countries.

Another person spoke up, saying it wasn’t fair to girls without well-known families and that this particular girl wasn’t deserving of the attention.

One popular commenter observed that she was trying to appear strong and intimidating, but instead came across as a spoiled child throwing a tantrum. Another person joked that she looked like she was heading to a wrestling match.

One TikTok user asked about who trained her, and many commenters speculated that her famous parent paid for modeling coaching.

While many were critical, someone defended her, saying, ‘She’s just sixteen, so let’s not be too harsh.’ However, they also acknowledged that having famous parents clearly gave her an advantage.

Someone defended the young actress, saying, “Please be understanding—she’s only sixteen! It’s natural she would agree to things. The real issue is with the casting director.”

Following Sunday Rose’s recent and talked-about runway walk, her father, Keith Urban, shared with PEOPLE how proud he is of her.

The proud father also shared that he and Nicole are committed to helping their daughter stay grounded and well-adjusted, even with her modeling career.

We’re hoping we can support her in managing everything she’s going through. Having parents who understand the world of celebrity should also be helpful for her, he said.

Parenting is definitely challenging! It’s all about finding a good balance and remembering that it’s a journey, not a destination. Maintaining that balance is what I think is most important.

He emphasized the importance of keeping her focused on school, maintaining a consistent routine, and ensuring everything in her life is well-balanced.

A few weeks later, Nicole shared with E! News that she made a point of not being pushy or controlling as her daughter, Sunday Rose, got ready to model.

She shared how incredibly proud she is of Sunday Rose’s modeling career, and emphasized that her priority is simply being a mother to her.

Nicole recently discussed her daughter’s first time walking the runway in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter.

The Academy Award-winning actress initially didn’t think her daughter, Sunday Rose, should be in the show, but Miuccia Prada, who created the Miu Miu brand, persuaded her to let her participate.

Nicole explained that Miuccia really admired her and insisted on working with her. She added that Miuccia is a very influential woman, making it a great pairing.

Oh my gosh, she completely trusts Miuccia, and honestly, who wouldn’t? She’s known her since she was just 23! That’s, like, a lifetime of knowing this incredible, 75-year-old fashion icon and billionaire. You just know she has the best advice!

Nicole and her husband, Keith, are parents to two daughters: 15-year-old Faith Margaret and Sunday Rose.

The acclaimed actress and the 57-year-old country crooner have been married since 2006.

Nicole also has daughter Isabella, 33, and son Connor, 31, with ex-husband Tom Cruise, 63.
