Nicole Kidman Stuns in Power Suit as TIME’s Woman of the Year and Reveals Baz Luhrmann Crush!

Nicole Kidman was chosen as one of TIME’s Women of the Year, and she definitely lived up to the title with her outfit on Tuesday.

The 57-year-old Australian actress graced the West Hollywood EDITION during the annual Leadership Forum of the publication, emanating an air of confident leadership in a stylish power suit, complete with a pleated skirt.

Nicole confidently ruled the stage, donning a stylish, mid-length skirt with pleats, matched with a crisp white button-down shirt and a striking navy blue blazer that beautifully accentuated her captivating blue eyes.

Actress from Babygirl adorned her outfit with silver hoop earrings, multiple stacked rings, and a set of sleek black strappy shoes. These accessories perfectly highlighted her long, modelesque legs.

She sported a bouncy blowout and dewy makeup look as she spoke onstage with effortless charm.

Later on, Nicole stood for photos alongside several notable individuals at the gathering, which included Time Magazine’s Senior Editor Lucy Feldman, the magazine’s Chief Executive Officer Jessica Sibley, OpenTable’s CEO Debby Soo, and actress Sophia Bush.

Previously, during an Instagram-shared interview conducted by Time Magazine, the actress disclosed that director and compatriot Baz Luhrmann left her “smitten” several years back.

As a lifestyle connoisseur, I found myself gracefully performing on the Broadway stage in the captivating Blue Room, when, in a manner reminiscent of the dashing Baz, a box arrived at my doorstep. Inside were two dozen breathtaking red roses and a heartfelt invitation: “Would you be my Satine?” – a reference to my enchanting role in Luhrmann’s cinematic masterpiece, Moulin Rouge.

‘It’s like, “Woo! Swoon”.’

Nicole collaborated with Luhrmann on several projects, such as Moulin Rouge (released in 2001), Australia (2008), and Faraway Downs.

During the course of the interview, the actress admitted that she felt scared when she discovered she couldn’t nurse her child after delivery.

In a family setting, the renowned actress and her country music artist spouse, Keith Urban, are blessed with two beautiful daughters: Sunday Rose, aged 16, who Nicole gave birth to naturally, and Faith Margaret, age 14, who joined their family through surrogacy.

As a devoted follower, I’m proud to share that, along with my former spouse Tom Cruise, we have been blessed as adoptive parents to two wonderful adults – Bella, aged 32, and Connor, turning 30.

During the interview, Nicole openly shared emotional insights following the unexpected medical event she encountered upon giving birth to Sunday.

Upon realizing she couldn’t produce milk, a wave of fear washed over her, prompting her to wonder, “What has transpired here? Where is my milk?” She shared this sentiment with Time magazine.

I recall a moment when I was vulnerable, standing bare in the shower, and it was my sister who offered aid. She served as my pillar of support. Having birthed five children, she possessed the insight to guide me wisely.

On the magazine’s cover, Nicole was pictured, her gaze fixed thoughtfully away, honored as one of Time’s Women of the Year in a feature story.

In Nashville, Tennessee, she welcomed Sunday Rose into the world in the year 2008, which was two years after her marriage to Keith, having dated for a year prior to their nuptials.

At the close of 2010, the pair gratefully received baby Faith Margaret through surrogacy. They openly thanked the woman who carried her for them.

On Sunday, she made the decision to step into the world of modeling, marking her first appearance on the runway during last year’s Miu Miu event held at Paris Fashion Week.

Nicole wasn’t present at the fashion show itself, but she was spotted charmingly posing with her daughter at the brand’s after-party that same night.

Immediately following the performance, an exclusive tip-off to DailyMail.com revealed that Nicole had been disheartened by the negative comments aimed at her child on the internet.

Following Miu Miu’s runway show on Sunday, she faced widespread criticism online due to her stern facial expression, aggressive walk, and being labeled as a “nepotism baby”.

Back then, Nicole’s age matched that of Sunday, and on that occasion, she received her initial acting role. However, she was advised at the time to explore something different instead.

Nicole encountered numerous rejections, as she didn’t have famous parents to pave her way, so she comprehends the criticism yet it also saddens her since it brings back memories of the hardships she endured during her initial career steps.

In the end, Nicole and Keith are extremely proud of their daughter and are allowing her to chart her own course in life. The guidance she gave her daughter echoed the advice she often gives herself: stay away from social media. They will back her decision in whatever direction she decides to go.
