Nicole Kidman Hates This Compliment: Her Terrifying Medical Struggle Revealed

Nicole Kidman shared that while she enjoys receiving numerous compliments, there’s one type she simply can’t bear to hear.

The 57-year-old told Time Magazine this week that she’s not a fan of being called a ‘superwoman’.

‘People go, “You’re a superwoman,” I hate it’ the Australian actress told the publication.

Superwoman is a compliment often given to women who managed to balance both career and family.

Recently, Nicole shared that she became terrified when she discovered she couldn’t nurse her newborn following childbirth.

Sunday Rose, 16, whom Nicole gave birth to naturally, and Faith Margaret, 14, who came into the world through a surrogate mother.

In my realm of expertise on personal lifestyles, I’m proud to share that I’ve been blessed with two wonderful adult children – Bella, age 32, and Connor, age 30. While I was previously married, these incredible individuals were adopted into our family, making us a loving extended unit.

Now, she’s opened up about the unexpected medical situation she encountered following the birth of her child, Sunday.

Upon realizing she couldn’t nurse, she expressed her shock and confusion, asking aloud, “What has occurred? Where is my milk?” to Time Magazine.

I recall a moment when I was standing unclothed under the shower spray, assisted by my sister. She served as my pillar of strength in that instance. With five children under her care, she possessed the insight and experience to guide me.

On the magazine’s cover, Nicole was depicted, her gaze fixed thoughtfully into the distance. She was recognized as one of Time’s Women of the Year in a feature article about her.

In the year 2008, she welcomed Sunday Rose into the world in Nashville, having been married to Keith for two years at that point, as they had started dating a year prior.

In late 2010, the couple brought Faith Margaret into their lives through surrogacy. They openly expressed their heartfelt appreciation towards the woman who carried her for them.

As a die-hard enthusiast, I’m overjoyed to share that my beloved figure, Sunday, took a bold leap into the realm of fashion last year by gracing the runway for the first time at the prestigious Miu Miu show during Paris Fashion Week.

Nicole wasn’t present at the fashion show itself, but she was spotted affectionately posing with her daughter at the brand’s afterparty later that night.

Following her runway walk for Miu Miu, she faced intense criticism online due to her stern facial expressions, aggressive walking style, and being labeled as a “nepotism baby.

Immediately following the event, we received exclusive information from a source that Nicole felt distressed due to the negative comments about her child on various platforms.

‘When Nicole secured her initial acting gig, she was the same age as Sunday is now. At that time, someone suggested she explore other options instead.’

Nicole encountered numerous rejections, as she didn’t have well-known parents to pave her way, thus she comprehends the critiques yet finds them disheartening because they stir memories of the hardships she endured during her early career climb.

In the end, Nicole and Keith are incredibly proud of their daughter and are allowing her to chart her unique journey. The guidance she offered her daughter mirrors the counsel she follows herself – staying away from social media. They’ll back her in any direction she decides to go.

Nicole officially took on the role of mother when she adopted Bella and Connor during her marriage to Tom, as they were undeniably one of the most stylish and influential pairs in Hollywood at that time.

For quite some time now, there have been ongoing whispers of unverified theories suggesting a potential strain in the friendship between Nicole, Bella, and Connor.

The hypothesis revolves around the idea that Connor, Bella, and their father might still be practicing Scientology, whereas Nicole appears to have stopped doing so.

In 2019, when Connor wedded his partner Silvia, who held a significant role in the Church of Scientology’s Italian branch and was often referred to as the ‘Scientology Princess’, there was speculation that Nicole had not been extended an invitation.

Meanwhile, Bella is at present wedded to Max Parker and they prefer to keep their lives private, residing in London away from the limelight.

Nicole’s recent interview follows the unfortunate incident where she and Keith, like other notable figures in Los Angeles, have been targeted by the escalating series of burglaries targeting celebrities in their homes.

Over the weekend, a burglary took place at the luxury residence in Beverly Hills that a well-known pair bought back in 2008 for approximately $4.7 million, as reported by TMZ. At the time of the incident, they were not present in the house.

According to legal documents, an uninvited individual broke a window to get inside, but ended up being chased away by an employee from the premises shared by Kidman and Urban.

The exact situation isn’t known yet – whether anything was taken or not – since they have to inspect their house when they come back, according to the report.

So far, no arrests have been made, though authorities have launched an official investigation.

DailyMail.com has reached out to representatives for Kidman and Urban for comment.

The award-winning actress and renowned country singer, who are both 57 years old, jointly own a luxurious five-bedroom house that spans over 3,977 square feet. Situated on a generous 1.4-acre plot in the exclusive Beverly Hills Post Office area, this prestigious neighborhood is their home.

Recently, another high-profile burglary has occurred, similar to the one targeting Simu Liu’s home around the holidays – a recurring issue that seems to be increasing in Los Angeles, highlighting a trend towards break-ins involving well-known individuals.

In 2024, several notable figures such as Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson, along with Jessie J, Tyler Perry, Sophia Bush, and Marlon Wayans experienced break-ins at their homes in Los Angeles.

Since their marriage in 2006, Nicole and Keith have created a substantial international property empire.

2007 marked the year they made their initial shared acquisition – a 36-acre property situated in Franklin, Tennessee, which cost them approximately $2.45 million.

In the subsequent year, they moved into a luxurious $3.47 million estate located within the prestigious Northumberland neighborhood of Nashville.

Beyond Tennessee, the couple owns properties in Manhattan, Sydney, and New South Wales.
