Nicole Kidman, 57, says her teen daughters ‘raid her closet’ as they enjoy a ‘normal’ home life in Nashville with ‘parent-teacher conferences’
As an ardent fan of Nicole Kidman, I can’t help but marvel at her extraordinary life journey. From her humble beginnings in Australia to her meteoric rise as a Hollywood icon, she has undeniably left an indelible mark on the world of cinema. Her latest endeavors, such as The Perfect Couple and Babygirl, are testament to her versatility and dedication to her craft.
Nicole Kidman has two teen daughters at home: Sunday, 16, and Faith, 13.
On Thursday, the actress told ET that the girls often rummage through her wardrobe, as they’re deeply fond of designer clothing.
Additionally, she shared with Extra that their everyday life at home in Nashville, Tennessee is quite ordinary.
The Academy Award-winning actress, currently wedded to renowned musician Keith Urban, shared that she eagerly anticipates going back to her Nashville family residence once she completes the promotion of her latest mystery drama series titled “The Perfect Couple.”
Nicole, along with her children Isabella (aged 31) and Connor (aged 29), who she shares with her former husband Tom Cruise, shared with Extra that she leads a rather ordinary, everyday life.
She added: ‘I’m right now going, “Yes, I’ll be at the parent-teacher conference tomorrow night.”‘
In “The Perfect Couple,” it’s Nicole, aged 57, who shares the screen with Liev Schreiber. She thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to collaborate with him, being that he is also 56 years old.
Nicole said: ‘I love working with him because he’s one of the greats.’
The Hollywood star always thought that Liev was the perfect candidate for the role.
She expressed: “I noted, ‘It’s crucial that you provide me with Liev, as I need someone to play my husband, a co-actor, who will be incredibly demanding when it comes to the script.'”
In another production, Nicole plays the lead role in the latest erotic thriller titled Babygirl. The actress has expressed her hope that this film will serve as a liberating narrative for women.
The acclaimed actress confessed that she found making the movie to be a ‘very freeing’ experience.
At the Venice Film Festival, she shared: “This narrative represents a single woman’s journey, and I truly aspire that it will be empowering for all.”
The film is narrated by a woman, as portrayed by Halina Reijn herself, who both wrote and directed it. This is what makes it stand out to me, for it means I’ll be entrusting myself to a female perspective while experiencing this story.
‘It was very dear to our shared instincts and very freeing.’
In June Nicole said her daughters fangirl over one star.
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, she mentioned that the young audience gets particularly excited about actress Joey King, aged 24, who portrays her on-screen daughter in their latest movie, A Family Affair.
‘They really fangirl over Joey. Which is nice, right? They’ve grown up with Joey’ Nicole said.
Previously known as a child actor, Joey gained widespread recognition globally due to playing the main character in The Kissing Booth series, which includes three films.
She is also well known for her role as Gypsy-Rose Blanchard in the crime series The Act.
In the recently released Netflix romantic comedy titled “A Family Affair”, the character Joey portrays Nicole’s daughter. This young woman experiences a surprise when she uncovers that her mother is involved in an extramarital relationship with her supervisor, who is played by Zac Efron.
Nicole has notably kept her daughters out of the limelight – until recently.
In a heartfelt speech at the American Film Institute’s Life Achievement Award ceremony, she affectionately called the young ladies in question “the dearest parts of my life.”
Nicole mentioned that her daughters, Sunday and Faith, had never accompanied her to a public event on the red carpet before. Tonight was their debut, hence their presence at the event.
She previously told Studio 10 that Sunday and Faith love visiting family in Australia.
As a devoted admirer putting words into her shoes, I’d say, “It’s all about the loved ones, always the kinfolk,” was her response when inquired about any upcoming Australian adventures on the horizon.
‘We jump in and out quite a bit. Sometimes under the radar which is always lovely too.
As a lifestyle aficionado, I find myself constantly visiting my family – my sister, nieces, nephews, and mother – as they play such a significant role in my life. They bring so much joy and excitement that it’s hard to stay away for long!
Nicole also shares adopted children Bella, 31, and Connor, 29, with her ex Tom Cruise.
Although Nicole and the country musician Keith primarily live in Nashville, United States with their kids, it’s important to note that they originate from their native homeland, where their roots run very deep.
More recently, Nicole added another property to her collection by purchasing a sixth apartment, worth approximately $7.7 million, within the same Sydney complex.
Prior to their latest acquisition, an Aussie pair had bought a three-bedroom apartment situated within the Landmark Latitude building, located in Milsons Point.
