Nicolas Cage, 61, makes rare sighting with wife Riko, 30… after admitting Sarah Jessica Parker broke his heart

On Monday in Los Angeles, Nicholas Cage was spotted alongside his wife, Riko Shibata, who is four years his junior.

This less-publicized pair, with a significant age gap (he’s 61, she’s 30), are well known for having a young daughter, August, who is just two years old.

Cage wore a white jacket over a dark shirt, paired with faded denim jeans, while his partner was entirely dressed in black, carrying a Chanel handbag and sporting sunglasses.

It’s been a wild month for Cage who made headlines that same day.

Back in 1991, while they were filming the movie “Honeymoon in Vegas,” Sarah Jessica Parker admitted to having a romantic relationship with Nicolas Cage. The film was released the following year.

Sarah shared the news while on Watch What Happens Live with her pal Andy Cohen. 

Cage reacted when he said didn’t pass ‘the Mom test’ with Parker.

In the late ’90s, the actor has shared details about a brief romance he had with her, and he quipped that their connection ended when he initially met her mother.

He told E! News in a statement: ‘I cared about Sarah, but I don’t think I passed the Mom test.

‘During dinner at the Russian Tea Room, she and her mother joined me, but after that evening, I’m not sure if it was because of my leather motorcycle jacket or a bout of sinusitis, we lost contact.’

This is well before she wed her husband Matthew Broderick.

The 60-year-old star of “And Just Like That” is named James, who is 22 years old, and they also have 16-year-old twin daughters, Tabitha and Marion, with Matthew.

Cohen reacted: ‘Oh wow. We’ve got some talking to do!’

On the episode that aired on Sunday, Cohen inquired whether the rumors were correct about them being in a relationship. To this, she responded affirmatively by saying, “Indeed, we did date.

Nicholas got married to Patricia Arquette in April 1995, but they parted ways after just nine months and their divorce was finalized in the year 2001.

From 2002 to 2004, Nicolas was wedded to Lisa Marie Presley; his marriage with Alice Kim lasted from 2004 until 2016, and he tied the knot with Erika Koike in 2019. Regrettably, their union was annulled just four days after the wedding ceremony.

He has two sons – Weston, 34, with ex-girlfriend Christina Fulton – and Kal-El, 19,  with Alice.

In an interview on Watch What Happens Live, Sarah Jessica Parker (from Sex and the City) disclosed that she was the one who expressed her affection first, to the 63-year-old actor Matthew, renowned for his role in The Lion King.

Sarah additionally had a relationship with Robert Downey Jr, following their encounter on Firstborn. This ex-pair parted ways in 1991, having been together for seven years.

She also dated Michael J. Fox and John F. Kennedy Jr. 

On May 19th, 1997, Sarah and Matthew got married. They have three children collectively: their eldest son, James Wilkie, who is now 22 years old; and their twin daughters, Tabitha Hodge and Marion Loretta, who are both 16 years of age.

Currently, Sarah Jessica Parker has shared her belief that staying out of the limelight as a Hollywood couple has positively impacted her marriage.

In 1997, the pair officially got married, and she thinks that keeping their personal affairs private and maintaining a low profile in New York has contributed significantly to their enduring love story.

To Britain’s HELLO! magazine, she revealed the key to her blissful marriage might be its secrecy: “Perhaps it’s because I don’t discuss it! Truly, it remains a mystery.

‘But maybe it’s because we’re not a Hollywood couple. We live in New York – maybe that’s good.’
