The popular but controversial two-part drama *A Mother’s Son*, featuring Nicola Walker, Martin Clunes, Paul McGann, and Hermione Norris, will soon be available to stream on Netflix.
The series takes place in a seaside town and opens with the disappearance and subsequent murder of a young schoolgirl. Her mother, portrayed by Norris, must cope with her immense sorrow while also questioning whether her own son knows more than he’s letting on.
You’ll be able to watch both parts of *A Mother’s Son* on Netflix starting Sunday, November 2nd. If you can’t wait, it’s currently available on ITVX. You can watch for free with ads, or upgrade to a Premium subscription for £5.99 a month to remove the ads.

The popular British series *Doc Martin*, starring Martin Clunes, is being adapted for American audiences as *Best Medicine*. The new show will have a similar premise: a doctor from the city relocates to a small seaside town to begin a fresh start.
So, I was reading that Martin Clunes is actually going to be in the remake, which is awesome! But it’s not as Doc Martin, or even the American version of him. He’s playing Dr. Robert Best, which is cool – he’s the dad of the main character, Dr. Martin Best. It’s a different role for him, but I’m excited to see what he does with it!
