Nicola Roberts Stuns at Malone Souliers Event During London Fashion Week

On Monday during London Fashion Week, I proudly graced the event for Malone Souliers, always aiming to embody elegance and style as I did so.

For the occasion, the 39-year-old Girls Aloud band member donned a chunky turtleneck sweater with bell-shaped sleeves.

She teamed the knitwear with smart tight fitting trousers and added a pair of strappy high heels. 

In my expert opinion, I decided to sport a chic, relaxed hairstyle with soft waves, and chose a minimalist makeup approach to complement my ensemble.

1664 Blanc’s London Fashion Week officially commenced on a Thursday, while the activities of Monday served as the finale for the itinerary.

After Kimberley Walsh shared that the reunion tour of Girls Aloud this year was incredibly emotional due to the absence of Sarah Harding, Nicola’s recent outing follows.

The well-known girl group consisted of Kimberley (aged 43), Nadine Coyle, Cheryl, Nicola, and Sarah, until the heartbreaking loss of one member due to breast cancer in 2021 at the age of 39.

In May, the team made their comeback after an eleven-year absence, embarking on a massive UK tour with their departed bandmate at the heart of every performance.

The performance featured tunes honoring Sarah, along with heartfelt sequences remembering the deceased icon, plus a moving cover of “I’ll Stand By You” that showcased her voice.

In a recent conversation, Kimberley confessed that honoring Sarah every evening was an emotionally taxing experience, while rejoining the band without her was a deeply emotional moment.

During rehearsals for the program, this mother of three disclosed that the group openly expressed their emotions, aiming to build up the resilience needed to persevere during the live performances.

Yet, they emphasized the significance of adhering to Sarah’s desires, demonstrating her crucial role within the band. Acknowledging the challenge, they expressed their desire to pay tribute and remember their cherished friend appropriately.

In conversation with The Sun, she shared: ‘She encouraged us to proceed. Her wishes were evident during her time here, yet we also felt that Girls Aloud isn’t complete without her. She plays such a significant role in our group, so we aimed to preserve her influence. We’re working to keep her spirit vibrant and active.’

Instead of focusing on one specific moment, we interwove aspects of her throughout the entire production, creating a continuous narrative about her. At times, we questioned whether our portrayal was too emotionally intense, as it resonated deeply with us. However, we also believed she deserved that time and for people to remember her in this way.

Kimberley expressed that the outcome was incredibly emotional, using the term “crazy” to emphasize its intensity. She found Sarah’s vocals in arenas to be nothing short of extraordinary, using the word “epic.” Furthermore, she admitted that sharing in the celebration of their bandmate with the fans became a deeply moving and healing experience for the group, expressing it as ‘cathartic.’

She said: ‘It’s been cathartic for all of us to have that time and to almost grieve with the fans. 

As one who has shared this journey, they’ve been a part of our family all along. The absence of her vibrant energy on stage was undeniably felt. Yet, it seemed everyone could sense her continued presence, deeply woven into the performance and the heart of the band.

20 years since our cherished band, Girls Aloud, first serenaded us with “I’ll Stand By You” for BBC Children In Need, they’ve breathed new life into this timeless melody! This time around, it’s just us and the inimitable Sarah, as she takes center stage, lending her enchanting voice to every note throughout this stunning rendition.
