Nicola Peltz celebrated her husband Brooklyn Beckham’s 27th birthday with a very glamorous party, and shared lots of affectionate photos of them together.
However, the post seemed to subtly criticize Brooklyn’s parents, David and Victoria Beckham, who are still dealing with a difficult family conflict. This follows Brooklyn’s public statement about the disagreement back in January.
Nicola appeared to respond to David and Victoria Beckham’s recent gesture of affection towards their son, Brooklyn, by sharing a song with a clear message and echoing their public ‘We love you Brooklyn’ statements.
Nicola shared photos from the night and wrote a caption saying how special it was, thanking everyone who attended for making it perfect.
Nicola seemed to playfully tease the Beckhams – who often express their affection for family in their social media posts – concluding with a heartfelt message: ‘We all love you so much, Brooklyn!’
I couldn’t help but notice Nicola really letting everyone know she had a great night! She posted another one of those cute mirror selfies, and the song she chose – Mariah Carey’s ‘Always Be My Baby’ – just felt like a little message to everyone. It’s clear she’s feeling confident and happy, and I’m here for it!
Family communication has broken down so much for the Beckhams that Brooklyn is now reportedly asking his family to go through his lawyers if they want to contact him.
To celebrate Brooklyn’s 27th birthday on Wednesday, his parents posted many heartfelt birthday messages on Instagram, letting him know they were thinking of him.
David Beckham shared a childhood photo of his son Brooklyn and wished him a happy 27th birthday on Instagram. He affectionately referred to Brooklyn by his childhood nickname, ‘Bust,’ and also tagged his wife, Victoria, in the post. He ended the message with ‘We love you x’.
Shortly after, Victoria posted the same picture and wished Brooklyn a happy birthday, expressing her love for him. She then shared a photo of herself laughing with her son, adding a series of heart emojis.
Romeo and Cruz also shared posts along with members of extended family.
However, people close to Brooklyn are saying he’s upset with the posts. An insider told ET that he wants to completely cut off contact with his parents – even on social media – after their difficult and public disagreement.
According to a source, Brooklyn and Nicola regret publicly posting birthday wishes on Instagram.
Brooklyn has been trying to stop these kinds of showy public displays, but so far hasn’t been successful.
Last summer, they sent his parents a legal notice stating that all future communication had to be handled by their lawyers.
Even though the report came out, Brooklyn’s brother, Cruz, said he still hoped they could make up. He shared this while in Paris with his girlfriend, Jackie Apostel, on Thursday when asked about the situation.
A reporter asked the 21-year-old musician if he had any birthday wishes for Brooklyn, as he turned 27 this week.
He simply replied: ‘Happy Birthday.’
When a TMZ reporter asked Cruz about any communication with him, he remained silent but mentioned he wanted to fix his strained relationship with his brother.
Brooklyn didn’t acknowledge Cruz’s 21st birthday publicly last week and also ignored his birthday message this week.
He did reply to Nicola’s post, which was a very enthusiastic birthday message for him, complete with a lot of pink on her Instagram page.
The American actress is preparing for her biggest role yet – playing a ballerina in a new film called Prima. Recently, she’s been sharing photos on social media embracing the classic light pink color often associated with ballet costumes.
Brooklyn’s birthday post followed her usual tradition: she surprised her husband with pink doughnuts and flowers.
Brooklyn seemed upset by his parents’ showy birthday celebrations and, fittingly, wore a light pink sweater that blended in with the decor.
Staying with the pink theme, Nicola also wore a pale pink top in a sweet photo she posted of her and Brooklyn snuggled together that day.
She shared a heartfelt birthday message, writing: ‘Happy birthday, my love! I hope all your dreams come true. You bring so much joy to everyone around you, and I’m so lucky to be your wife. I love you more than words can say!’
Responding to her birthday tribute, he wrote: ‘I love you baby girl.’
Brooklyn, who now lives in the US with his wife Nicola (an actress), recently shared a six-page statement on Instagram explaining his wish to create distance from his family. The statement included serious and shocking claims.
In January, he told his social media followers that his parents attempted to ruin his marriage and consistently valued their public image more than their family.
He explained that his parents have always managed what the media says about their family.
Growing up, I was always surrounded by showy displays on social media, obligatory family gatherings, and relationships that didn’t feel genuine.
I’ve recently witnessed how far some people will go to spread lies in the media, often harming innocent individuals, all to maintain a false image. However, I’m confident that the truth will eventually be revealed.
