Nicola Peltz seems to be hinting at ongoing issues with her in-laws, following her husband Brooklyn‘s absence from the wedding of a close friend, Holly Ramsay.
Considering his strained relationship with his family, it wasn’t entirely unexpected that Brooklyn wasn’t there. However, the Ramsays are known to welcome him anytime, so many assumed he would have received an invitation.
As a lifestyle expert, I’ve been following the Beckham family, and it’s been reported that Brooklyn and Nicola haven’t been in touch with David’s side of the family for quite a while now. Apparently, things became strained after Brooklyn missed his father’s 50th birthday, and it’s been months since they’ve connected.
His younger brother, Cruz, recently shared that he had blocked all of his family members on social media after discovering they had stopped following him.
While his parents, David and Victoria Beckham, and his siblings were celebrating Holly’s wedding to Adam Peaty in the UK, Brooklyn chose to post a Grinch-themed message from his home in Los Angeles.
The young chef and his wife, both 30, have missed many family events with the Beckhams over the last year, including birthdays, parties, and holidays.
Shortly after the news of Brigitte Bardot’s death at age 91, Nicola shared her reaction online, posting a quote from the late actress.
Nicola explained that she prefers working with animals because she feels powerless to change how people treat one another. She wishes she could improve human interactions, but since she doesn’t believe she can, she focuses on animals instead.
This new post seems to be another indirect criticism of Brooklyn’s family. She shared a fashionable selfie with the message ‘Love being home’ while she and her husband remained in Los Angeles instead of going to Holly and Adam’s wedding.
Nicola showed off her fit physique in a revealing black top and stylish sunglasses. Brooklyn commented on the photo, writing, ‘Wow, she looks amazing!’
Brooklyn reportedly attended the wedding of Holly, 25, and Olympic swimmer Adam Peaty, 31, after spending Christmas with his wealthy in-laws.
David and Victoria Beckham and Gordon and Tana Ramsay have been close friends and neighbors ever since they both moved to the United States in the early 2000s.
Instead of joining the family for Christmas to celebrate Holly’s wedding, Brooklyn stayed home in the United States.
David and Victoria were part of the crowd of famous people eager to see the wedding couple.
Romeo, Cruz, and Harper – the children of David and Victoria Beckham, and close friends of the Ramsay family – also attended, though their brother Brooklyn was not present.
Honestly, we’re all wondering about Brooklyn and Holly’s wedding! We just don’t know if he wasn’t invited, or if he simply couldn’t make it. It’s a bit of a mystery, and I’m sure everyone’s curious!
But others close to the situation believe Holly wouldn’t have intentionally excluded Brooklyn, as the Ramsay family is known for being welcoming and keeping lines of communication open.
The Daily Mail reported that his close friendship with Jack, the eldest son of Gordon and Tana Ramsay (who is now a Marine), had also ended, even though they’d been best friends since early childhood.
They haven’t talked in a while, and people close to both families say their friendship started to fall apart when Brooklyn began dating Nicola.
Jack wasn’t present at Brooklyn and Nicola’s vow renewal ceremony this summer.
People are reportedly very disappointed he won’t be attending, as he used to be very close to both Holly and Jack – especially Jack.
Brooklyn shared a photo of one of his rescue dogs wearing a Grinch hat, seemingly hinting at his feelings about the holiday season.
He was recently spotted in the United States playing tennis with American professional Reilly Opelka and Nicola’s brother, Bradley.
Brooklyn and Reilly were spotted getting some exercise on a sunny day in Los Angeles, with Brooklyn seeming very engaged during their time on the court.
A short clip of the match was shared to both Bradley and Brooklyn’s Instagram Stories.
This followed a sweet Instagram post on Christmas Eve where Brooklyn called his wife Nicola his ‘everything’. This came after he had blocked his family on the platform.
I was so excited to see him post a picture of him and the heiress holding hands! They were celebrating the holidays with her incredibly wealthy parents down in Miami, and it just looked like such a happy moment. It really feels like things are getting serious between them.
He shared a post with the caption ‘My Everything,’ seemingly as a bold statement, not long after subtly criticizing his family in a recent message.
