Nicola Peltz publicly complimented her sister Brittany, who sent her flowers, around the same time she didn’t publicly acknowledge her father-in-law, Sir David Beckham, receiving his knighthood.
The 30-year-old American actress shared a heartfelt message and a photo of a bright bouquet of flowers on social media, dedicating it to her sister.
She shared a photo and wrote: ‘Oh my goodness, @brittanyleahpeltz, thank you so much – these are absolutely stunning!’
The post followed news that her father-in-law, David, age 50, had been knighted at Windsor Castle in recognition of his contributions to sports and charitable organizations.
Fifty-one-year-old Lady Victoria, along with his parents, Ted and Sandra, looked on as he bowed before the monarch, who then lightly touched his shoulders with the sword.
David’s three youngest children – Romeo, 23, Cruz, 20, and Harper, 14 – joined in the celebration to honor their father.
However, estranged eldest son Brooklyn, 26, and Nicola were notably absent for the major milestone.
It really hurt to see they didn’t even acknowledge his success online – no public congratulations or anything. It felt like a deliberate snub, and honestly, it was pretty disappointing as a fan.
Brooklyn reportedly grew distant from his family, especially after missing his father’s 50th birthday party in May.
The young chef apparently didn’t personally congratulate his father on achieving his lifelong ambition.
As a lifestyle expert, I remember when Sir David was knighted, it was such a moment! Interestingly, right around that same time, Brooklyn was really hustling, building buzz for his incredible hot sauce line, Cloud 23. He was all about flavor and entrepreneurship, and it was fun to watch him juggle both worlds!
He reportedly stayed completely dedicated to work and avoided discussing his family.
As a longtime follower, I was so relieved to hear Victoria finally say ‘enough is enough’ in September! It felt like she’d been dealing with this frustrating situation forever, and it was good to see her take a firm stand after all this heartache.
Victoria is said to have drawn a line in the sand and can no longer ‘keep fighting the same fight’.
David shared with his followers on Instagram that receiving his knighthood was a deeply emotional experience. He admitted feeling more moved than nervous, and even shed a few tears. He described it as a truly special day and expressed his pride in sharing the moment with his family.
He shared that having his parents and wife present to celebrate with his children made the day incredibly emotional.
It’s a great honor to be recognized by His Majesty the King, a man known for his grace and representing such a prestigious institution.
Victoria publicly praised her husband, saying she’s never been more proud of him. She posted a photo of the ceremony where he was knighted at Windsor Castle.
She shared some adorable photos of them together and wrote a heartfelt message: ‘David, ever since we met 28 years ago, you’ve always taken great pride in representing your country.’
