Nicky Hilton puts on a leggy display in red sequin minidress as she celebrates launch of her new clothing collection with star-studded cocktail party
As a longtime admirer of Rebecca’s designs, I must say that this collaboration between the designer and Nicky Rothschild is nothing short of magical. The synergy between their aesthetics and design DNA is palpable in each piece from the collection.
Nicky Hilton made sure she was impeccably dressed for Tuesday night’s occasion, hosting a cocktail event at London’s The Bar at Gaia to mark the debut of her latest fashion line in collaboration with Rebecca Vallance.
The social figure aged 41 displayed her sleek physique in a sparkling mini-dress adorned with red sequins, which was part of the fresh Holiday assortment she and Rebecca have recently introduced.
The shimmery number showcased her lengthy limbs gracefully and sported a stylish, off-the-shoulder design, accentuated by a decorative rose motif in the fabric.
Nicky boosted her stature using a matching pair of burgundy high-heels, and adorned herself with a dazzling diamond-studded flower ring.
At a prestigious gathering in London, well-known figures from high society such as Princess Beatrice, along with Princess Diana’s nieces, Lady Kitty, Lady Amelia, and Lady Eliza, were present.
Among the prominent attendees were Daisy Lewis from Downton Abbey, fashion model Lady Mary Charteris, style expert Martha Ward, as well as Holly Ramsay, daughter of renowned chef Gordon Ramsay.
At the beginning of this month, Nicky and Rebecca unveiled their new holiday-themed collection, featuring 31 items, for all to see.

Nicky reminisced about the time when she and Rebecca initially met and eventually teamed up, saying: “I hadn’t met her before, but I was aware that we both had a similar style – playful, feminine, and full of fun, as she was an Australian beauty.
As a lifestyle enthusiast navigating through my pregnancy, I found myself in need of an elegant dress for a charity event. My search led me to the enchanting Rebecca collection, and I became determined to find the perfect piece. To my dismay, it seemed as if every store had run out of stock. In a moment of resourcefulness, I decided to take matters into my own hands – or rather, fingers. I reached out to the designer herself through direct messages on social media. Miraculously, her response led me straight to the dress I’d been longing for!
She continued: ‘We just became friends from there. We both love holiday time. We both have the same aesthetic. We love dressing up.
As I curated my picks from Rebecca Vallance’s stunning collection, I found myself captivated by numerous shared elements and inspirations – a thrilling and joyous journey of discovery!
Nicky additionally shared with People magazine insights on maintaining their relationship, expressing enthusiastically: ‘For quite some time, I’ve admired Rebecca’s creations. I’ve even had the pleasure of donning them.’
I, along with my mother and sister, share a deep affection for them. To work alongside one of my preferred designers is truly a cherished wish fulfilled. Our styles align remarkably well, much like shared DNA, and I believe this harmony will be evident in each creation.
Instead of flying to New York, she’ll join me in Europe. We’ve been extremely cooperative and have put in a lot of effort on this collection.
Moreover, Rebecca emphasized that Nicky played a significant role in every design, referring to it as an authentic partnership.
She said: ‘Nicky was involved as much as I was. We would talk about silhouettes, fabric choices.
‘She is a trained designer so it’s not a situation where she just slapped her name on it.’
Nicky pointed out that the designs evoke a unique, holiday ambiance using a classic color scheme, incorporating some unconventional hues as well.
As a lifestyle enthusiast, I often find that during holiday seasons, the go-to color palette tends to be rich jewel tones. However, for this collection, I aimed to challenge convention and broaden our horizons. Among the vibrant colors, you’ll find my personal favorite – ice blues.
Nicky has spent nearly a decade as wife to James Rothschild, who they wedded in July 2015 at the residence of Kate Middleton and Prince William located within Kensington Palace.
In 2011, the pair crossed paths for the first time at the nuptials of Petra Ecclestone, a wealthy Formula 1 beneficiary, and her former spouse, James Stunt.
In the past year, I found myself navigating through long-distance relationships. However, our shared dream of being together led us to take a bold step: moving to New York City in 2013. Our journey continued, and in 2014, with Lake Como as our picturesque backdrop, I was overjoyed when he asked me to spend the rest of my life with him by proposing there.
Nicky and James then welcomed daughters Lily-Grace, eight, Teddy, six, and two-year-old son Chasen.
