Nicki Minaj in meltdown: Rapper targets pregnant Cardi B (and her children) in latest ‘unhinged’ social media tirade after taking brutal swipes at Taylor Swift, Miley Cyrus and nemesis Megan Thee Stallion

Nicki Minaj and Cardi B are once again making headlines due to a recent flare-up of their years-long rivalry, which started last month.

These two have been publicly feuding for years, and their conflict came to a head in 2018 when they physically fought at an event.

After a brief pause in their conflict, Nicki Minaj and Cardi B are feuding again. Nicki recently posted, then removed, a series of critical tweets about Cardi, who is expecting her fourth child, sparking the renewed disagreement.

Nicki Minaj took the conflict a step further by seemingly referencing Cardi B’s daughter, Kulture, in a disrespectful tweet, appearing to target Cardi’s children.

She also took aim at Cardi’s unborn baby.

Okay, let me tell you, the drama between Cardi and Nicki is *still* heating up! Cardi definitely responded to the accusations, and she didn’t delete anything – which, honestly, feels like a big moment. It’s like she’s saying, ‘I’m not backing down.’ A lot of people are seeing this as a turning point, like maybe Nicki has finally found someone who’s willing to stand toe-to-toe with her after years of similar conflicts in the music world. It’s a real shift in the dynamic, if you ask me.

Many fans voiced worry about Nicki Minaj, commenting that while defending yourself is understandable, her recent social media posts seemed erratic and concerning.

Nicki Minaj’s tweets often feel reminiscent of those from President Trump – erratic, wild, and generally chaotic.

‘this cardi b and nicki minaj beef on twitter is so unhinged’.

Nicki Minaj isn’t new to conflict. Over the years, she’s had public disagreements with many celebrities, whether on social media like Twitter, in her songs, or even during live events like awards shows.

Let’s talk about online behavior and how it impacts artists. I’ve noticed a pattern with one particular personality who frequently uses harsh and aggressive language online, especially on platforms like Twitter. She once went as far as using incredibly offensive language towards SZA, and she’s consistently used her music to express negativity towards Megan Thee Stallion. It’s a really unfortunate situation, and it highlights how damaging unchecked online aggression can be.

She also called out Jay Z’s company and implied that she’s been sabotaged professionally.

Beyond her feuds within the rap community, she also had a public disagreement with Taylor Swift, though they eventually reconciled. In 2015, she publicly criticized Miley Cyrus during the MTV Video Music Awards, where millions were watching.

SZA

Nicki Minaj is currently in a public dispute with SZA and her team, stemming from criticism directed at Terrence ‘Punch’ Henderson, the president of Top Dawg Entertainment.

Nicki Minaj called out a former manager from Top Dawg Entertainment (TDE), claiming he used to harass her on Twitter. She stated she has proof of his behavior.

I totally ignored him. What was his name, though? I think I’m going to start calling him “Minus 30 million” from now on.

Hitting back, SZA cryptically posted, ‘Mercury retrograde … don’t take the bait lol silly goose.’

Although SZA didn’t name Nicki directly in her post, Nicki believed the message was about her. She responded by publicly criticizing SZA’s work, skills, and looks in a series of harsh social media posts this week.

Nicki Minaj reacted to something SZA said with a pointed message: ‘Wait, is SZA really claiming she’s more successful than me? Someone explain!’

She went on to say to SZA that if all of her songs disappeared today, the music industry wouldn’t even notice. She claimed to have visited places where people had never heard of her, and questioned whether SZA truly believed she was a significant artist.

SZA later clarified that her tweet had nothing to do with Nicki’s and she wasn’t talking about her.

Nicki quickly retorted, calling her a liar and then shockingly compared her voice to that of a ‘dead dog’.

Appearing to want to put an end to the discussion, SZA tweeted: ‘Okay, I’m going to go back to being quiet and reserved. Have a good night, everyone! See you tomorrow for the second show in Paris!!’

To make matters worse, Nicki then claimed SZA, 35, was being dishonest about her age, suggesting she was actually in her ‘mid-forties.’ She even asked to see SZA’s birth certificate to prove it, though she later removed the post.

Megan Thee Stallion

In 2019, Nicki teamed up with Megan Thee Stallion to create the song “Hot Girl Summer”.

However since then relations have turned particularly sour between the pair.

The two artists have been publicly arguing through their music, releasing songs that directly criticize each other.

In 2023, Nicki Minaj seemingly referenced Megan Thee Stallion in a song on her album, Pink Friday 2. The track, titled ‘FTCU,’ mentioned Tory Lanez, who had been convicted of shooting Megan earlier that August.

I remember when things got really tense between Megan and Iggy back in 2019. They tried to work on a song together, but it just didn’t happen, and it caused a major rift. It was wild when Nicki brought it up in her verse, basically telling Megan to stay in her own lane and that she wasn’t Iggy – a really pointed dig at the whole situation.

Social media users immediately connected the dots, with many commenting on the incident. One person wrote, ‘It’s hilarious how she repeatedly slapped Megan Thee Stallion and then told Tory Lanez to stay out of it.’ Another commented that Nicki Minaj seemed overly focused on her ongoing, one-sided rivalry with Megan.

Later Megan hit back in her track Hiss, which appeared to mock Nicki and her husband Kenneth Petty.

Megan rapped, ‘These women aren’t upset with Megan, they’re upset with Megan’s Law’ – a likely reference to a US federal law that makes information about registered sex offenders available to the public.

Nicki Minaj’s fans interpreted a recent action as a criticism of her husband, who has a history of sexual assault. He was convicted of attempted rape of a minor in 1994 and served a four-year prison sentence.

In July 2022, he received a three-year probation sentence and was ordered to spend one year on house arrest after failing to register as a sex offender in California.

This line likely also referenced Nicki Minaj’s brother, Jelani Maraj, who was found guilty in 2017 of sexually assaulting his eleven-year-old stepdaughter.

He was sentenced to 25 years to life in prison in January 2020, after a 2018 appeal failed.

Nicki responded by going on Instagram Live and publicly calling on Megan to have her mother apologize.

Megan’s mother, Holly Thomas, passed away in March 2019 from brain cancer.

Nicki Minaj followed up by releasing the song “Big Foot,” using it to publicly question Megan Thee Stallion (real name Megan Pete) about whether she’d had liposuction. She also accused Megan of having a relationship with her ex, rapping, “Sleeping with your best friend is crazy, that’s just something you’d do.”

According to insiders Nicki was determined to ‘drown’ her contemporary.

In 2024, a source shared with DailyMail.com that while Nicki Minaj appears to be at fault for going to the location in question, she doesn’t regret her actions, and the public is only seeing a limited version of events.

The situation is actually more complicated than it appears. Megan and Cardi B are privately teaming up to criticize Nicki, but Nicki has far more experience in the industry than either of them.

Okay, so Megan REALLY messed up! She went after Nicki’s family – her husband AND her brother – and it was just… awful. Honestly, I was fuming for Nicki! And Nicki? She didn’t back down. She absolutely *had* to respond, and she did it perfectly, escalating things because Megan deserved it. Nicki was right to tell her to show some respect to the people who paved the way for her, because seriously, the nerve of Megan!

Jay Z

Nicki Minaj hasn’t just had issues with SZA’s team; she’s also recently expressed frustration with Jay-Z’s company, Roc Nation, sharing a number of complaints.

The singer, who has been nominated for a Grammy, didn’t mention Jay-Z or anyone connected to him in her recent posts on X. However, she suggested someone has been working against her career.

Hey Barbz, I wanted to explain why I’ve been holding back on new music. It’s honestly because of some really difficult issues I’m having with the business side of things. It’s been tough, and I wanted you all to know the truth.

Nicki Minaj, known for her song “Barbie Tingz,” hinted that issues with Jay-Z’s company have caused delays in her releasing new music. Her last album, “Pink Friday 2,” came out in 2023.

Following reports from her fans about being unfairly limited on social media, Nicki Minaj posted a message seemingly directed at Jay-Z, who has a long-standing partnership with the NFL through Roc Nation. She wrote, “NFL fire some people & then [phone emoji].”

The Daily Mail contacted representatives for both Nicki Minaj and Roc Nation for additional information about this story.

The artist from Anaconda also mentioned someone was trying to create problems between her and her husband, Kenneth.

She described attempts to separate Kenneth from his wife and family, saying people are trying to break them apart.

She wrote that efforts to turn him against her have involved ‘lies and friends in high places.’

The rapper stated that her fans have reached out to her, sharing how the issues with Roc Nation have negatively affected them.

Okay, seriously, I’m losing it! She *said* she needs the Barbz – that’s us, her fans – more than ever right now, because everything is just…a mess. And then she said she’s finally going to *tell* us what she’s figured out…about *us*! I can’t even breathe, this is huge! She’s thinking about *us* and she’s going to share something… I’m so ready!

She claimed her and her followers’ social media accounts were being secretly limited, likely to harm her reputation. She asked her fans to keep track of any problems they experience on her pages and share that information.

The singer advised her fans, known as Barbz, to keep records of any time their accounts are flagged or suspended, and on which platform it happens.

Taylor Swift

Oh my gosh, you won’t BELIEVE this! Apparently, Nicki and Taylor got into it because Taylor *thought* Nicki was shading her way back in 2015! Can you even imagine? Taylor just jumped to conclusions and assumed Nicki was coming for her. It’s totally wild!

Nicki Minaj expressed her disappointment with the music industry on Twitter after her video wasn’t nominated for Video of the Year at the MTV Video Music Awards.

She stated that videos showcasing very thin women would be considered for the ‘Video of the Year’ award.

Taylor interpreted this as a criticism of her “Bad Blood” music video, which included brief appearances by many of her well-known female friends.

After seeing Nicki’s tweet, Taylor responded by saying she’s always loved and supported her. She added that it’s out of character for Nicki to create conflict between women, and suggested a male artist might be responsible for whatever issue Nicki was upset about.

Nicki responded to Taylor, insisting her comments weren’t about her. She tweeted, ‘Huh? You must have missed my tweets – I didn’t mention you at all! I love you just as much, but you should really say something about this situation.’

She shared with her 19.9 million followers: ‘It’s great you’re all seeing how things operate. When Taylor Swift removed her music from Spotify, people praised her. But when we launched Tidal, we faced a lot of criticism.’

Taylor tweeted at Nicki, inviting her to join her on stage if she won an award. She later removed the tweet.

Eventually, they resolved their differences when Taylor acknowledged her mistake and apologized for speaking impulsively.

She explained in a tweet that she initially thought someone was criticizing her, but she realized she had misunderstood the situation and accidentally said something wrong. She apologized to Nicki.

The rapper graciously accepted the apology, replying: ‘That means so much Taylor, thank you.’

In 2023, Nicki Minaj said she’d happily collaborate with Taylor Swift, signaling that any past disagreements are now resolved.

Miley Cyrus

Back in 2015, Miley and Nicki became involved in a public argument on television, stemming from a disagreement Nicki had with Taylor Swift.

The 22-year-old singer, known as Flowers, chimed in during a New York Times interview, stating, ‘There’s a way to talk to people.’

The writing I came across reminded me a lot of Nicki Minaj, and if you’re familiar with her style, it wasn’t very gentle. It lacked politeness. I believe you can communicate with people in a way that’s both honest and kind.

The situation escalated at the VMAs when Nicki, while accepting her award, publicly confronted Miley.

Concluding her speech, she turned her attention to someone who had recently criticized her in the media, saying, ‘Miley, what’s going on?’

Okay, so when the cameras focused on me during that moment, I definitely noticed Nicki’s reaction. Honestly, it took me a split second to process, but I managed to stay cool and respond as calmly as I could. It’s all part of live TV, right? You have to roll with it!

The pop star, known for speaking her mind, said, ‘We’re all in the same business, and we all make mistakes during interviews. Nicki, congratulations!’

Not quite done, Nicki mouthed ‘Don’t play with me, b***h’ before leaving the stage.

Even four years later, Nicki hadn’t forgiven Miley for the insult that occurred during Nicki’s Queen Radio show appearance.

Nicki Minaj criticized Miley Cyrus, saying Cyrus shouldn’t criticize those she considers ‘royalty’ – a title Nicki applies to herself.

‘She disrespected me in a magazine article for no reason.

Nicki claimed she witnessed Miley engaging in a sexual act with producer Mike WiLL Made-It while they were both working on Miley’s 2013 album, Bangerz.

Nicki then took another swipe at Miley, referencing her role in Black Mirror and saying, ‘Now you’re showing up with pink wigs, everyone wants to be like me.’

The online backlash started after Miley sang a line in her new song, ‘Cattitude,’ saying she preferred Cardi B over Nicki Minaj.

Miley clarified that she doesn’t favor either Cardi B or Nicki Minaj in their ongoing conflict, explaining she appreciates both artists.

‘Anytime you want to feel powerful and strong, that’s my go-to, Cardi and Nicki,’ Miley said.

Mariah Carey

The rivalry between Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj on American Idol in 2012 likely stemmed from the fact that the show couldn’t accommodate two dominant pop stars on the judging panel.

News broke about disagreements happening on the set of American Idol. A video leaked in October 2012 showed Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey arguing during auditions in Charlotte, North Carolina.

In the video, the rapper says he told others he wouldn’t tolerate “her highness” – a reference to Mariah.

Nicki also accused Mariah of making negative comments about her, escalating the situation.

According to TMZ, the judges often talked over one another, seemingly competing to be heard the most. Whenever Mariah Carey tried to speak, Nicki Minaj reportedly responded by raising her voice even more.

A source said: ‘These girls just don’t like each other.’

During an interview with Barbara Walters, Mariah Carey was asked directly if she was the woman Nicki Minaj referenced in a song, using a derogatory term.

‘Don’t know. I didn’t know she sang. I thought she rapped. Or whatever,’ Mariah replied.

Remy Ma

Nicki Minaj and Remy Ma had a long-running feud that started in 2007. It began when Nicki released a freestyle rap where she referenced Remy, telling her to ‘run it like Chris Brown’ over a beat from a song by Terror Squad, the rap group Remy was a member of.

Remy reportedly took it personally, and confronted her at a party.

The conflict between them seemed to fade after Remi was imprisoned for six years for shooting a friend during a dispute over $1000, around the time Nicki Minaj’s career began to flourish.

After getting out of prison and coming back to rapping, Remy Ma freestyled over Nicki Minaj’s “Truffle Butter” instrumental and even performed a rendition of Minaj’s verse from the song “Monster” as part of a rap cypher.

Nicki Minaj first publicly addressed her conflict with Remy Ma in 2017 on two songs: Gucci Mane’s “Make Love” and Jason Derulo’s “Swalla.” On those tracks, she subtly criticized the sales numbers of Remy Ma’s recent album, which she’d made with Fat Joe.

But taking it a step further, Remy marked her comeback with a diss track shETHER.

In a seven-minute song, Remy Ma strongly criticized Nicki Minaj, claiming she had cosmetic surgery and alleging she had relationships with several prominent figures in the hip-hop industry, including Gucci Mane, Lil Wayne, and radio personality Ebro.

Nicki allegedly had the affairs while dating Meek Mill and longtime partner Safaree.

During the same year, Remy caused a stir at New York’s Summer Jam Festival by shouting an expletive directed at Nicki Minaj as Minaj left the stage.

Nicki quickly responded to her rival by releasing two songs that directly addressed the conflict.

Remy was imprisoned for six years after shooting a friend she believed had stolen $1000 from her.

Nicki Minaj doesn’t hesitate to point out the hypocrisy, rapping: ‘If your music isn’t selling, you can’t act like Kanye West? What is she even on?/ I would have pulled you out of the difficult situation you’re in, despite your past mistakes.’
