Nickelodeon star Josh Peck and wife announce birth of third child and reveal newborn’s VERY unusual name
Josh Peck is now a father of three, after welcoming a third son with his wife Paige O’Brien.
On Wednesday, a well-known 38-year-old actor and his 34-year-old spouse shared the initial pictures of their newborn baby boy on Instagram, unveiling an uncommon name for him.
The joyful duo expressed their affection with this post saying, “We adore you, Meyer Lane,” gathering a whopping 62,000 likes within just four hours!
As a devoted admirer, let me share some fascinating insights about the name Meyer: this captivating moniker, steeped in history and meaning, is of Hebrew origin. It holds multiple interpretations that resonate deeply with me – it can signify ‘giver of light’ or ‘illuminator’ in Hebrew, or it may symbolize ‘mayor’ or ‘leader’ in German. Truly, the name Meyer carries a powerful and inspiring connotation, much like the individuals who bear it.
The name doesn’t tend to be commonly used, as it ranks 3397th in general and 1825th among boys’ names in the U.S., as per TheBump.com.
The first of two snaps showed Meyer in a white onesie with a green pacifier in his mouth.

In the second shot, Meyer was wrapped snugly in a white-and-green-striped blanket, taking a tranquil nap.
In 2017, they exchanged wedding vows, and since then, they’ve become proud parents of two boys: Max Milo (age 6) and Shai Miller (age 2).
In a 2023 interview with People, the pair shared insights into their unique approach to parenthood, with Paige discussing her challenges related to breastfeeding.
She initially planned to breastfeed when they welcomed Max, but soon discovered that her body didn’t produce enough milk for him.
She explained that for several weeks, she pushed herself relentlessly, but nothing seemed to work. Eventually, we turned to various alternatives, experimenting with many of them until we found the perfect match.
The difficulties experienced led to a collaboration with Enfamil, specifically via the Enfamil Family Beginnings program which provides assistance for new parents.
Peck stated, “‘I often joke that there isn’t a sommelier for formulas, someone who presents all the various types of formulas, and you never know which one will suit your children best. Therefore, being able to try different things and discover what works best for them is incredibly important.’
‘He said, “At 2 AM, when you might need comfort or have questions, you’ll have the ability to access this. I truly believe it’s immeasurably valuable.”‘

He mentioned that what drew us to Enfamil Family Beginnings was the concept of parents supporting one another. This involves openly discussing their experiences, even in moments of vulnerability, and sharing about the hurdles they encounter.
Moreover, Peck mentioned providing small shortcuts (cheat codes) and facilitating access to useful resources for individuals on their respective journeys, be it academic, professional, or personal.
He characterized their approach to parenting as ‘relaxed’, as Paige put it, they seem to strike a ‘good balance’.
She noted that Josh is both actively involved and extremely helpful, a quality for which she is grateful, and there seems to be a striking resemblance in their energetic demeanor, similar to Max.
In her own words, she expressed feeling more laid-back and tranquil. She believes it’s due to the harmonious blend of our unique abilities.
Recently, Peck appeared in the character of Janowicz for the popular HBO series The Last Of Us. Currently, he is working on a project titled Nate & Al, which co-stars Richard Dreyfus and is still in the pre-production phase.
