Nick Pasqual’s ex-girlfriend Allie Shehorn shows off her vivid stabbing scars as she comes face to face with the How I Met Your Mother actor in courtroom showdown
As a bystander looking at this heart-wrenching story unfold, I can’t help but feel an overwhelming sense of empathy for Shehorn, a woman who has bravely faced unimaginable hardships and is now fighting to reclaim her life. Her courage in standing up against domestic violence is truly inspiring, and it speaks volumes about the strength she possesses within.
A makeup artist from Los Angeles, who was nearly killed by her abusive former actor boyfriend, has broken her silence in an interview with DailyMail.com. She revealed that she intends to be present at every one of his court appearances to ensure he understands she is still around and hasn’t disappeared.
35-year-old Allie Shehorn, who’s known for her bravery, publicly displayed the scars on her neck, shoulder, arm, and wrist during a court hearing in San Fernando, California. Her gaze seldom strayed from actor Nick Pasqual, star of How I Met Your Mother, throughout the proceedings.
In an utterly harrowing incident that unfolded at my Sunland residence on May 23, I endured over twenty brutal stabs, a chilling assault reportedly carried out by Pasqual.
After trying to escape to Mexico, Pasqual was captured at the Fort Hancock International Bridge in the small town of Sierra Blanca, Texas, in May. He was subsequently returned to California in June.
Currently, Pasqual, aged 35, is detained at the North Valley Correctional Facility in Castaic, California. He’s dealing with several accusations, such as attempted murder, burglary, and domestic violence.

Additionally, he has been accused of another assault on Shehorn, which occurred three days before the stabbing incident. This alleged attack involved hitting her head against the floor inside their home. Following this incident, she requested a protective order to safeguard herself.
In an exclusive conversation with DailyMail.com, Shehorn shared that she was just moments from death due to the stabs she received, and intends to be present at every court hearing to ensure Pasqual realizes he cannot escape justice.
‘I just hope that there’s justice served,’ she said.
‘People should know that this shouldn’t happen and he can’t get away with it.
‘I’ll be at every court hearing, even if I don’t have to be, just to show him that I’m still here.’
After the assault, the skilled makeup artist for special effects endured over a week in the hospital and now carries visible signs, such as intense scars on her neck, as reminders of the ordeal.
One of her arms is currently in a cast, and she’s unsure if it will heal enough for her to go back to work.
She shared with DailyMail.com, “That objective is what I aim for now.” She added, “Unfortunately, I’m still without sensation in my hands and have some vision impairment that hasn’t fully recovered.”

In Shehorn’s petition for a restraining order, it is stated that Pasqual is accused of assaulting her multiple times. This includes incidents such as striking her with a belt on January 29th, destroying several doors in their home on March 6th, and committing sexual assault and choking her on April 14th.
Speaking as a devoted admirer, I must say that there have been instances when things got intense between us, but he’s never laid a hand on me physically—except for those two occasions when he forcefully removed my clothing.
Within the application, the makeup artist for special effects requested safeguards not only for herself but also for her stand-in, Christine White (age 62), and their pet, a white husky-mix named Riley, as well.
A hearing to extend the temporary restraining order was set for June 11 in Pasadena, but Pasqual was required in court for a felony case in San Fernando on June 12 – dates he couldn’t attend because he was already detained in Texas prior to his extradition.
Each day brings new challenges, and the ongoing effects are tough to handle. Overcoming these lasting changes is incredibly difficult, and I find it nearly impossible to return entirely to my former self.
After a quick court session at San Fernando, California, DailyMail.com had a conversation with Shehorn, who noted that during the interaction, Pasqual avoided making eye contact with her.
Rather than sitting upright, he slouched in a vibrant blue detention suit, his hair pulled back into a knot, and confined within a cell, focusing solely on his legal counsel.
Initially, both him and his legal representative protested against the media’s reporting of the court trial; however, Judge Bernie LaForteza disregarded these protests.
In the brief five-minute appearance at the courthouse, Pasqual only addressed Judge LaForteza one time. This was to acknowledge his understanding of relinquishing his entitlement to a quick trial. A new hearing has been scheduled for him on October 8.

He remained expressionless as the prosecution announced they would add another charge, for which he will face a hearing later in the autumn.
As I, clad in a somber black vest and relaxed trousers that failed to conceal my scars, took my seat throughout the majority of the events, I found myself fixedly gazing upon Pasqual, with two trusted companions standing steadfastly by my side.
She informed DailyMail.com that she was present at his first hearing as well, and intends to be there for every subsequent court appearance of his.
For now, she’s on the mend and attending therapy sessions as part of her healing process. She has a strong support system in place, which includes some wonderful friends.
She said: ‘I’ll be there as much as possible.’
As a fellow woman, I too want to share a message to those of you who may be in similar situations. It’s hard to imagine, but remember, be vigilant for the warning signs and take action when it’s safe to do so.
Pasqual will return to court on October 8.
