Nick Knowles ‘barely has energy to walk to car’ after Strictly Come Dancing training
As a lifestyle expert with extensive experience in analyzing celebrity dynamics and fitness regimens, I must say that Nick Knowles has taken his Strictly Come Dancing journey to a whole new level. The intensity of training sessions he described is not something we often hear from contestants, and it’s refreshing to see a celebrity being so candid about the physical toll the show takes on them.
When famous individuals join Strictly Come Dancing, they dedicate lengthy and demanding hours to private dancing sessions with their skilled dance mentors.
It’s not surprising that many romantic entanglements have arisen on shows like “Strictly,” which have tragically disrupted countless existing relationships, earning the label of “The Strictly Curse.
However, the partner of charismatic Nick Knowles, who is 27 years younger than him, may now relax, as the DIY SOS host indicated to The Mail on Sunday that he lacks the vitality for infidelity following his rigorous Strictly Come Dancing training sessions.
The 61-year-old presenter mentioned that the rigorous practice sessions for the show leave him exhausted, often requiring him to crawl to his vehicle afterwards. To rejuvenate, he’s been immersing himself in ice baths.
In response to questions about the “Strictly Curse,” Knowles, participating in the 20th anniversary edition of the program, commented: “By the time I make it to the car, I hardly have the strength left. This isn’t a problem for me.

To be truthful, we had a full-day training session the day before yesterday. Upon returning home, I was so exhausted that I practically dragged myself to the car, spending an entire hour with my feet submerged in a chilly water bath.
Last August, during their filming in the U.S., Knowles proposed to Katie Dadzie, a 34-year-old lingerie entrepreneur, marking a significant moment for them both.
As a lifestyle enthusiast, I’ve been on an incredible journey these past six weeks, diving headfirst into training for a Saturday night dance competition. In the process, I’ve managed to shed close to two stones from my frame, making this experience not just about dance steps, but also about personal transformation and self-improvement.
He added: ‘I was very fat, I’ve lost a lot of weight. I’ve done about six weeks of training to get fit enough to start dancing.
‘That’s the main thing, be fit enough to be able to do it, because it is unbelievably hard work.’
