Nick Jonas shares how wife Priyanka Chopra helps him prepare for film roles

Their partnership extends beyond the red carpet, with Priyanka playing an integral role in helping Nick prepare for his film roles. It’s not every day you find a wife who can help put together your audition tape!
Ever since I can remember, Nick Jonas has been shining brightly on the scene, one-third of the renowned Jonas Brothers. Yet, it’s his recent strides in acting that truly captivate me.
In a recent conversation, the actor-musician disclosed that over the past five years, his spouse, Priyanka Chopra, has significantly contributed to his film shoot preparations.
“Jonas mentioned to E! News that he has an exceptionally talented acting companion at home – his wife, who is a renowned actress. To clarify, when I say ‘exceptional’, I mean she’s a global-class performer, which is always a bonus.”
In fact, the couple even went as far as to help each other put together their audition tapes.
They don’t just perform scenes together, but they also collaborate by analyzing and dissecting scenes and characters together.
Jonas, aged 31, shared that they often discuss characters, he noted. He continued, expressing his joy about being able to keep his creativity flowing at home, which in turn, he can apply in his professional setting.
Fans might want to make it clear that Priyanka Chopra played a significant role in helping Nick Jonas develop his character, Renn Wheeland, in the series The Good Half.
Last week during the debut of a dramatic film in Los Angeles, the native of Jamshedpur, Bihar, India couldn’t resist expressing his enthusiasm for the man and the movie on Instagram.
“On Instagram, August 2nd, the mother of little Malti expressed her excitement about a touching and beautiful movie she can’t wait for everyone to see. She might be a bit partial, but @nickjonas, your performance is simply outstanding in this film!”
Joining Jonas in this drama are Brittany Snow, David Arquette, Alexandra Shipp, Matt Walsh, and Elisabeth Shue as well.
Under the guidance of director Robert Schwartzman and screenwriter Brett Ryland, the film The Good Half revolves around the character Renn Wheeland, who journeys back to Cleveland, Ohio following his mother’s passing and subsequent funeral.
Since then, Jonas has embarked on the production of “Power Ballad,” a comedic musical movie that both John Carney directed and co-wrote with him.
In the movie, there’s a portrayal of a confrontation between a renowned musician (rock star) and a wedding performer. This intriguing story features Paul Rudd, Jack Reynor, Havana Rose Liu, and Sophie Vavasseur as part of the cast.
Regarding his famous actress wife, Chopra currently has not one but two movies in a stage known as post-production. One of these is an action-comedy titled “Heads Of State,” which stars Idris Elba and John Cena.
Additionally, she takes on the main role in the action-packed play movie, “The Deception,” where she shares the screen with Karl Urban, Ismael Cruz Córdova, Safia Oakley-Green, and Vedanten Naidoo.
Lately, the actress from Quantico has been seen in the romantic comedy-drama movie “Love Again” (2023). Additionally, she is involved in two other films as an executive producer – “To Kill A Tiger” and “Women Of My Billion.”
In the year 2017, Jonas and Priyanka Chopra first connected through text messaging. This digital interaction eventually culminated in their marriage in December 2018, just a short while after their engagement.
