On Tuesday evening, Nick Frost and Aisling Bea were beaming with joy at the UK debut of their latest movie, “Get Away,” which took place in London.

52-year-old actor and 40-year-old Irish comedian smiled brightly as they playfully struck several poses on the red carpet.

Nick gleefully flaunted his fresh makeover, having unveiled it on Instagram the previous day. Now, he’s adorning a well-groomed mustache and stylish tortoiseshell eyeglasses.

Previously, he posted a selfie showing off the newly discovered glasses on a Monday, inviting his audience to share their thoughts, which he expressed with enthusiasm: “Discovered these in a drawer. What do you think? (I quite like them!)

Simon Pegg, the star of Shaun of the Dead, went all out for the premiere. He chose to wear a herringbone jacket paired with a burgundy roll neck sweater instead.

Nick included a set of intelligent, dark-brown pants, a pair of leather dress shoes, and a blue, spotted pocket square.

As Aisling showcased her long, slender silhouette in a striking black velvet garment reminiscent of a jacket, adorned with attention-grabbing silver fastenings.

The actress complemented her fashionable appearance with delicate polka-dotted stockings, a set of vibrant red suede Mary Jane shoes, and multiple golden earrings shaped like seashells.

In a playful moment, the actress from Living with Yourself chuckled while she and Nick stood facing opposite directions, then she embraced him tightly with a comforting hug.

In the latest movie titled “Get Away,” the duo Richard and Susan Smith take on the roles of a married couple, while Maisie Ayres and Sebastian Croft portray their children, Jessie and Sam.

The “slasher comedy” was penned personally by Nick, and it was Steffen Haars who took charge of directing. The plot revolves around the Smith family, who decide to take a vacation on the tiny Swedish island of Svälta.

Nevertheless, the mainlanders strongly advise them against visiting the island under any circumstances, particularly during the Karantan festival – a time when their plans coincide.

Despite choosing to travel by ferry to the island, the family encounters unfriendly and impolite locals, leading them to suspect that some unpleasant incident may be imminent, given the locals’ unusual behavior.

The film had its premiere in both the U.S. and Canada in cinemas last month, and it’s set to be shown for UK audiences on Sky Cinema starting from January 10th.

At the premiere, Nick explained that his movie “Get Away” was influenced by a 1992 mockumentary titled “Man Bites Dog,” which is about a serial killer, as well as the 1998 dark comedy film “The Idiots,” directed by Lars von Trier.

As a die-hard movie enthusiast, I’m always captivated when films reach a turning point where hidden aspects about the characters are unveiled, leaving me pondering: Have I developed an intense dislike for these individuals, or is my affection for them still lingering?

Known for his contributions to movies such as Shaun of the Dead alongside Simon Pegg, Nick openly acknowledged that he experiences a sense of tranquility when watching horror films.

He shared that he’s had a lifelong affection for both comedy and horror genres, with a fondness dating back to when he was just ten years old, as he used to watch horror movies during that time.

I find myself very familiar with it, perhaps due to the deep understanding I have of it. Surprisingly, even though it’s a horror genre, it seems to provide a sense of comfort and relaxation for me.

Yet, Aisling confessed to PA that she was actually quite fearful, confessing, “I honestly get frightened regularly by everything.

In the spirit of transparency, I find myself in a rather unusual predicament. A persistent whisper has been circulating about an uninvited rodent guest within my abode, which understandably leaves me hesitant to return this evening. Fear isn’t exactly my forte, but this situation has certainly piqued my curiosity and prompted me to seek alternative accommodations tonight.

However, being within it turned out to be surprisingly enjoyable due to the contrast. While we were busy with lunch breaks filled with sandwiches amidst the mayhem and murder, there was a certain level of fear reduced. This, in turn, made the experience less intimidating.

Aisling excitedly shared her delight about the enjoyable experience she had while working on the movie, even though it involved spending an entire day dashing through a forest swarming with flies, covered in sticky jam.

She mentioned: ‘Every day, we’d be rolling with laughter non-stop, even amidst gruesome settings filled with props like fake blood and decaying body parts. All things considered, it was quite an entertaining occupation.’
