Nick Cannon Says He’s ‘Not Done’ Having Kids Despite Vasectomy Talk!

Nick Cannon‘s acting and musical careers have brought him great recognition, but it’s his large family that has been generating most of the recent news about him.

Over the past decade, starting from 2011, this 44-year-old celebrity has accumulated a family of 12 children, including a pair of twins born during his marriage to Mariah Carey.

However, despite expanding his family by welcoming ten additional children with five other women over the following years, Nick remained steadfast in his habits, showing no signs of change, even after Alyssa Scott delivered his latest child, Halo Marie Cannon, in December 2022.

On Monday’s installment of their podcast “We Playin’ Spades,” hosted by Ryan Clark (formerly an NFL player) and Courtney Bee, the discussion veered unexpectedly as Ryan opened up about his experience with a vasectomy.

Nick made a jest by saying the podcast reminded him of a consultation or advice session. Later on, Courtney expressed her observation that she’s been noticing many discussions about Black men undergoing vasectomies lately, leading her to wonder if this might be a recent trend.

In a shy manner, Nick acknowledged that undergoing a vasectomy seemed like the “prudent choice” or “wise decision.

Despite admitting that it was a wise decision given his circumstances, he continued to stand firm and unyielding.

‘I’m just – I’m not done [having children],’ he added.

Another individual at the gathering, Channing Crowder, proposed that the feeling of an orgasm might be more intense without a vasectomy, a belief shared by Nick as well. However, it’s important to note that Healthline states that the procedure does not affect sensation or pleasure in any lasting way.

Ryan shared his own story about why he chose to have a vasectomy.

‘I wanted number four,’ he declared. ‘My wife told me she did not want number four.’

The NFL player expressed that he needed to show respect for it. Furthermore, he mentioned that his wife informed him, “Since I carried and birthed our children, it’s your turn to assist in preventing more.

‘Wow, that’s an honorable man right here,’ Nick added.

In due course, he was questioned about whether he might consider having a child with one of the women who had previously given birth to his offspring.

‘I don’t know. That’s the thing. I leave it to the Lord,’ he replied.
