Nia Jax is doing the best work of her career as WWE Women's Champion

As a gamer who’s spent countless hours watching WWE since the Attitude Era, I must say that Nia Jax’s return to the Women’s Division has been nothing short of spectacular! After her departure in 2021, I was worried we might never see her giant-sized presence again. But lo and behold, she returned in 2023, and boy, did she make an impact!

The highly anticipated WWE event Bad Blood is just around the corner, and there are numerous matches that are sure to captivate viewers. One such match that has fans buzzing is the Women’s Championship bout between Nia Jax and Bayley. Although the intrigue isn’t solely about their confrontation, it’s also due to Tiffany Stratton’s presence with the Money in the Bank briefcase hanging over them. Even though Stratton is a factor, it’s crucial to acknowledge Nia Jax’s impressive recent stint in WWE, as she’s not only raised the bar on her own performance but also set new standards within the women’s division.

Nia Jax’s WWE career has been a rollercoaster ride, with two distinct narratives. On one side, spectators often criticized her due to the favorable storylines she was given and perceived as ‘risky’ in-ring actions, whether their concerns were justified or not. When Jax was let go in November 2021, the reaction from fans differed significantly from that of any other wrestler dismissed during the same period. It looked like Jax might never return to professional wrestling, but fortunately, she’s back.

Starting from her comeback in 2023, Jax has been an unstoppable force in the women’s division. In total, she’s lost just nine times. Upon closer examination, we find that most of these losses were in tag team matches or multi-competitor events. The rare exceptions are her three singles defeats. All of those have occurred this year, and interestingly enough, they were all high-stakes matches against formidable opponents like Liv Morgan, Rhea Ripley, and Becky Lynch. These three women are the only ones to have defeated Jax so far in her reign as champion.

After claiming the championship, Jax has excelled at portraying her villainous character while adding nuances to her performance. She’s not just a towering figure in the ring compared to others, but a complex character that keeps viewers intrigued. Moreover, she always looks fantastic as the champion, embodying the aura of someone who truly deserves the title.

At some stage, Jax will forfeit the title to Stratton. It appears that Jax will persistently harass Stratton, which could lead Stratton to retaliate by cashing in her briefcase and securing a win. Such events are common in these narratives. Stratton is seen as the upcoming star in the WWE women’s division. The company seems eager to bestow the title upon this promising talent and observe if she can sustain her rapid ascension within the roster.

To reach her destination, she plans to overcome Nia Jax in a match, however, this shouldn’t undermine the impressive work Jax has accomplished since returning to WWE. The contributions she’s made to this team have been outstanding, and she deserves recognition for her entire tenure with the company.
