Next Card Evolution in Clash Royale: Latest Updates & Predictions
In the beginning of each season, Supercell introduces a fresh Card Upgrade in Clash Royale. These extraordinarily potent cards boast enhanced statistics and special skills, making them incredibly useful due to their superior capabilities.
To use it during a game, simply play its basic card for a specific number of turns (commonly referred to as Cycles), and then you may summon its advanced form.
As Season 72 draws near, the Clash Royale team is hinting at the upcoming introduction of their newest Card Upgrade, and it seems to be a blazing addition to the game.
Inferno Dragon Will Be the Next Card Evolution in Clash Royale
The Inferno Dragon is set to get a new transformation, as Supercell confirms it’s the next card to undergo an Evolution in the game.

Currently, we’re unsure about the specific enhancements it has. However, we expect an enhancement to its sustained fire, causing it to deal progressively higher damage over a period. There are rumors suggesting that this enhanced fire could potentially hit multiple targets simultaneously.
Besides this, we also expect the Evolved Inferno Dragon to be given a buff to its HP.
If you haven’t gotten acquainted with the guidelines for Card Evolution, it’s worth noting that Supercell specified that only Common and Uncommon cards are allowed to get upgraded.
Starting from June 2, 2025, as Season 72 kicks off in Clash Royale, we’ll introduce a new card evolution: The Inferno Dragon. This will mark the 33rd time a card undergoes an evolution in our game.
