Newly-single Nina Dobrev wows in a plunging blazer on a girls’ night out in  Paris – after shutting down Zac Efron romance rumours

Nina Dobrev showed she’s doing well after her breakup with Shaun White, having a fun night out with her friends this week.

The Vampire Diaries star, 36, is presently spending time in Paris for Paris Fashion Week. She’s there enjoying the events and atmosphere of the French capital.

On Thursday evening, she was spotted with a female companion on their way to a private event held at the upscale five-star hotel, The Costes.

She showed no signs of sadness as she held hands with her pal as they arrived at the venue.

Nina looked glamorous as she went braless beneath a plunging black blazer and fitted midi skirt. 

She added some black stiletto heels and a matching bag, accessorising with statement earrings.

Nina and Shaun, 39, called it quits last month, less than a year after announcing their engagement.

The couple, who started dating in 2020, were together for five years. Shaun proposed to actress Dobrev in October 2024.

A source told People the decision to part ways was not taken lightly.

Following her separation, Nina has been seen looking affectionate with Zac Efron – sparking speculation about a possible romance with the High School Musical star.

They were seen having a blast on an Italian getaway with pals. 

Nina and Zac were subsequently spotted enjoying time together on a luxurious yacht in Sardinia, and they also went to the extravagant wedding of a crypto billionaire in the South of France.

I was completely captivated when, during the interview, the interviewer asked the star directly about all the rumors going around. It was so interesting! She just laughed and shook her head, which seemed to say everything. It was a clear signal that there was absolutely nothing to the speculation, and I felt like she handled it perfectly. It really put those rumors to rest.

She was then asked, ‘You’re just mates?’ to which Dobrev simply replied with, ‘Yeah.’

The decision to separate was amicable and reached with both love and a strong sense of respect, according to an insider. They continue to support each other, even though they’ve decided to pursue different life paths.

Nina also expressed that she was doing ‘good’ following her public breakup with White.

‘You know what, I’m excited for the future and the only thing that is guaranteed is change,’ the actress added while flashing a small smile towards the camera.

Just last month, the actress was spotted enjoying a fun trip to Italy with her friends – and Zac also came along to join in the excitement.

I was so excited to see that they weren’t alone! They were joined by some other amazing people, like Chace Crawford, who I remember from Gossip Girl, and Miles Teller too. It was a really star-studded event!

They were also seen holding a conversation with each other while on board a lavish yacht at sunset.

Nina and Shaun were last spotted together in public on August 31st, holding hands while in Los Angeles.

Another source close to the situation also spoke with the Daily Mail, sharing details about Dobrev and White’s recent breakup – specifically, how their priorities differed.

According to a source, Shaun has retired from competitive sports, including the Olympics. He was eager to start a family and embrace all the responsibilities that come with marriage and children.

Nina was present, but she was also eager to see how her acting career would develop, as it remains a significant priority for her.

According to an insider, Shaun has some acting experience, but he’s primarily been an entrepreneur since retiring from snowboarding. He was also excited to become a father and build that part of his life.

Despite sharing similar beliefs and desires, they struggled to agree on a unified objective, and this difference created tension in their relationship.
