Yolopark creates model kits, and many of their figures are inspired by the original Transformers cartoon or the live-action movies. They recently showed a prototype of a character from a different series, hinting at plans to expand their range of products.
The new Dinobot figure from the AMK Series, based on the popular character from Beast Wars, has been revealed. Early images show what appears to be a prototype, and while it doesn’t fully transform, the kit captures many of the character’s key features from the Beast Wars: Transformers cartoon. This Dinobot is the first of several planned figures for both the Maximals and Predacons.
Dinobot Maximizes Yolopark’s Transformers Kits With New Beast Wars Prototype
The AMK Series Dinobot from Yolopark’s AMK line is a collectible toy based on the Dinobot character from Beast Wars: Transformers. Originally a Predacon, Dinobot later switched sides and joined the Maximals. A recent video showcases the toy’s impressive range of motion, letting fans recreate dynamic action poses with this Cybertronian warrior.
The intricate details are noticeable throughout, with elements of the dinosaur form clearly visible even in robot mode. The mechanical, almost skeletal, design is also prominent. As this is a prototype, the colors differ from the final toy and animated series – it features black and lavender instead of Dinobot’s traditional brown and blue.
The AMK Dinobot figure closely resembles his appearance in the Beast Wars cartoon, accurately recreating his proportions and head design. It will come with both Dinobot’s bone sword and cyber-slash tail, which can be used separately or combined. You can also attach laser effects to simulate his eye blasts. As it’s still a prototype, the release date and price haven’t been announced yet.
Dinobot is likely the first of many building kits based on the Beast Wars series. A prototype for a similar kit of Optimus Primal, a major character from Beast Wars, has also been revealed. So far, Yolopark’s Transformers releases have mostly focused on the original Generation 1 series and the recent movies, including Bumblebee, Transformers: Rise of the Beasts, and Transformers One.
