TFT Ao Shin’s Ascent release date

On September 24, at 10 a.m. Pacific Time, the new game called Ao Shin’s Ascent will become available for players of TFT. This release follows closely after the TFT patch 15.5. Ao Shin’s Ascent will then be playable until the end of TFT patch 15.6 on October 8.

How to play Ao Shin’s Ascent in TFT

Ao Shin’s Ascent is a temporary, solo gameplay experience where you face increasingly challenging PvE battles and bosses, with the objective of climbing a mountain and rescuing small creatures known as Little Legends. By constructing a powerful board and applying enhancements, you aim to progress. This mode includes a Journey Track that allows advancement towards the mountain’s peak, even in defeat. With each playthrough, your character becomes stronger due to its roguelike progression system.

TFT guide mechanic in Ao Shin’s Ascent

During each ascent attempt, players have the freedom to pick the level of challenge, select a leader, and encounter specific bosses. Notably, leaders or ‘guides’ are a significant feature in Ao Shin’s Ascent. Players can acquire guides by progressing through the Journey Track and then enlist their assistance to gain access to unique strategies and abilities.

For instance, Zoe awards random treasures. On the other hand, the exclusive guide called Battle Queen Gwen offers access to potent items spanning various Teamfight Tactics (TFT) sets.

To get an emote and guides for Battle Queen Gwen and Truth Dragon Yasuo, you’ll need to spend 575 RP on the Ao Shin’s Ascent Guide Pack. If you want more goodies like two special Ao Shin legendary creatures, additional guides, and a second K.O. Coliseum Pass+ track, consider spending 2,780 RP on the Ao Shin’s Ascent Mega Bundle instead.

Riot Games states that if players successfully complete the summit with a minimum of twelve guides, they will receive the Ao Shin’s Ascent Portal free of charge!
