New Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Series Trailer Officially Reveals YouTube Release Date

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are returning, but with a fresh, new look! Paramount has shared a sneak peek of Teeny Mutant Ninja Turtles, a series designed for preschoolers. It will premiere on the Nick Jr. YouTube channel on July 24th.

Polygon reported that four new 30-minute episodes of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will be released on YouTube on July 24th and will be available to watch for free. Along with the announcement, they shared a first look at the updated designs for Leonardo, Donatello, Michelangelo, and Raphael.

Teeny Mutant Ninja Turtles Comes to YouTube In July

A new TMNT animated series for preschoolers is the latest example of a growing trend in franchise animation. Paramount has done this before, launching a similar show last September. This follows Disney’s strategy of creating preschool content based on established franchises, like ‘Mickey Mouse Funhouse’ and ‘Bluey’ (which are available on Disney+).

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles has been reinvented many times over the years, and new versions are almost expected. The original animated series focused on the Turtles when they were first learning ninjutsu. While the 2018 animated series was geared towards a slightly younger audience than the 2003 and 2012 shows, it wasn’t made for very young children.

The newest TMNT animated show was connected to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem movie. Unfortunately, it was canceled after Paramount and Skydance merged, even though it had already been picked up for another season.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Mutates Again

This announcement was part of Paramount’s bigger presentation of plans for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. They also shared news about upcoming books, restaurants, and a new partnership with Mattel for toys.

According to Paramount’s Josh Silverman, ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ is beloved by fans around the world for its exciting action, funny moments, and touching stories about friendship and family. The franchise offers many ways for people to connect with the Turtles – from movies and costumes to toys and books – and has had a significant impact on popular culture. These new products and experiences will keep the Turtles’ adventures going and introduce the stories to new audiences of all ages.

In addition to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie, Paramount Skydance has confirmed plans for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtlesthemed pizzerias in several cities, including Santa Monica, Monterrey (Mexico), and Sao Paulo (Brazil). Erik Burnham is also writing a novel based on the movie. While Skydance previously considered an R-rated adaptation of The Last Ronin*, there haven’t been any recent updates on that project.

Scholastic will release a new middle-grade illustrated novel, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Splinter’s Dojo, in September. Mattel also scored a major win with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles toy license, as the characters continue to be beloved by fans forty years after they first appeared.
