New Star Trek movie is now available to watch at home
Although we’re yet to receive official news about Star Trek 4, at least Star Trek enthusiasts now have a fresh Star Trek film to enjoy instead.
In the spin-off series titled “Star Trek: Section 31“, which follows from “Star Trek: Discovery“, Michelle Yeoh reappears as Emperor Philippa Georgiou, who departed from “Discovery ” during season three after opting to be transported to another point in time.
In the fresh film, Georgiou assumes a different identity and manages a nightclub beyond Federation boundaries. Yet, Section 31 co-opts her services for safeguarding the Federation, which sets in motion an assignment that requires her to face the regrets of her earlier life.
If you’re interested, you can now stream “Star Trek: Section 31” exclusively on Paramount+, as it has been added to their service today, accessible to all subscribers.
There’s no need to be concerned if you aren’t currently a subscriber. You can easily join us for just £4.99 a month in the UK, or $7.99 a month in the USA.
Additionally, you’ll have the opportunity to test out our service with a complimentary seven-day pass, allowing you to enjoy watching “Star Trek: Section 31” at no cost, provided you cancel before the conclusion of the trial period.

After watching Section 31, you can currently stream all seasons of Star Trek: Discovery, along with Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, Star Trek: Lower Decks, and Star Trek: Picard (and more) on Paramount+ right now.
In addition to Michelle Yeoh, the cast of Star Trek: Section 31 includes Omari Hardwick, Kacey Rohl, Sam Richardson, Sven Ruygrok, Robert Kazinsky, Humberly Gonzalez, James Hiroyuki Liao, and Miku Martineau portrays a younger version of Philippa Georgiou.
As a die-hard fan, I’m excited to share that the film’s script was penned by Craig Sweeny, and the masterful direction is courtesy of Olatunde Osunsanmi, both of whom have graced our screens with their work on multiple Star Trek: Discovery episodes.
