New Spa Days skins leak teases towel-only look for Ahri in League of Legends
The approaching Spa Days skincare range is generating significant excitement, particularly following the disclosure that Ahri’s attire includes a towel.
Fans have gone wild over the latest game leaks, particularly for the Ahri towel-themed skin, dubbed as a “fan service” or “financial emergency.” Intriguingly, the upcoming Spa Days skins are set to draw inspiration from traditional Eastern bath houses, providing a tranquil setting where champions can unwind in simulated hot springs. Stay tuned to find out which champions will be joining this unique skin line.
Spa Days skins
To date, we’re uncertain about how these skins will appear in the game or on splash art. Yet, we’ve got a clear idea of which champions will be included in this lineup.
- Aphelios (Prestige)
- Ahri (Legendary)
- Sett
- Sona
- Yunara
The source of the recent disclosure, known as Big Bad Bear, has shared additional details: Ahri will appear in just a towel. This revelation sparked wild reactions from players towards X. Furthermore, the new champion, Yunara, is set to join the Spa Days skin collection. As per the leaker’s information, the splash arts for this line are expected to feature numerous rubber ducks and steam effects. Similar to previous Prestige skins, Aphelios’ skin will be available with the Battle Pass purchase. In other words, buying the pass will allow you to acquire this skin.
Fan service
Many gamers argue that the latest Ahri skin released by Riot Games is primarily intended to cater to fans (fan service). Some critics have taken it a step further, implying that the company might be in a tight financial spot and resorting to selling sexually suggestive skins like Spa Days as a means to boost sales.
From another perspective, certain dedicated Aphelios players have expressed dissatisfaction because they were hoping for something more substantial than just a “Spa Day skin” for him, particularly considering it’s a Prestige edition.
When will the skins come out?
In the second act of the Spirit Blossom Beyond season, the Spa Days skins will make their appearance. This suggests they’ll be playable in-game sometime after June 25th. An exact release date hasn’t been specified just yet, but keep an eye out for them around that timeframe.
