New Sky/Netflix partnership set to bring big-ticket sport to a pub near you

Okay, so this is awesome news for us boxing fans! Sky and Netflix are teaming up to let me watch Tyson Fury’s next fight against Arslanbek Makhmudov with a live crowd! Apparently, they’re working together so pubs and other venues all over the UK and Ireland can stream it live on Saturday, April 11th. Finally, a good place to watch it with friends!

This is the first collaboration between the two companies. Sky Business now has the sole right to show the fight in commercial settings like pubs and bars, but venues must have a current commercial license to do so.

Residential Netflix subscriptions cannot be legally used for public screenings of sports events.

Tyson Fury will fight Mahudov at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. This will be Fury’s first fight since losing to Oleksandr Usyk in Saudi Arabia last December. He hasn’t fought in the UK since defeating Derek Chisora at the same stadium in December 2022.

In addition to the main event between Fury and Makhmudov, the fight night will also include exciting matchups like Conor Benn versus Regis Prograis, Frazer Clarke against Justis Huni, and Jeamie TKV battling Richard Riakporhe for the British heavyweight championship.
