New skins are coming for Blitzcrank, Warwick, Senna, and Naafiri

Senna, Warwick, and Naafiri are getting new looks, and Blitzcrank will have a unique skin released for April Fool’s Day.

The new trailer for Demacia Act 2 revealed upcoming League of Legends (LoL) skins and a first look at Shyvana’s updated in-game appearance after her long-awaited rework. Here’s a breakdown of what we know about the designs and when they’re expected to be released.

Warhounds skin line

So, during that BFX versus DK game in the LCK, they finally showed off all the new skins! It looks like the ‘Warhounds’ collection is coming, and it’s got skins for Naafiri, Senna, and Warwick. Pretty cool! Also, Riot said a part of the money from Senna’s skin sales will go to help all the LoL Esports teams, which is awesome. We still don’t know yet if Senna’s skin will be an epic or legendary tier, though. I’m hoping for legendary!

April Fool’s Day skins

The first developer update of 2026 gave fans a preview of the upcoming April Fool’s skins. We already knew Sejuani and Vex were getting them, and Riot Games has now confirmed Blitzcrank will join the fun. His skin features a lighthearted, cartoon style, as if he’s come straight from a comedy show.

Demacia Rising

The ongoing League of Legends event, Demacia Rising, is giving players new rewards as they finish each chapter. Completing chapter five unlocks a Demacia icon, and chapter six will reward you with a new Garen emote. Further progress – chapters seven and eight – will give you a Lux icon and emote. You can earn the event banner by completing all the Research tasks. If you’ve purchased the Battle Pass, you’ll receive the banner automatically through it.

Release date

The new character skins will be available for testing on the Public Beta Environment (PBE) starting March 3, 2026. While we don’t know the exact release date yet, the Blitzcrank skin is expected to launch with patch 26.07, which is scheduled for April 1.

We’re still working on the details for the other skins that have been announced – those for champions like Mordekaiser, Master Yi, Vladimir, Sivir, Swain, and Zac. We’ll share more information as soon as we have it.
