New season of hit “gritty and thrilling” drama that’s a “return to form” is available to stream now

In the fourth season, The Bear is back, starting off with its main character, Carmy, finding himself trapped in a repetitive scenario reminiscent of the movie Groundhog Day.

For the last four years, the Chicago-based chaotic series has been steadily delivering new seasons, bringing great joy to viewers eager to learn the latest about the iconic restaurant without long waiting periods.

In the United States, Chapter 4 is now streaming on FX via Hulu, while internationally it’s available on Disney+. The reception has been generally favorable, though not universally so.

On Rotten Tomatoes, currently, season 4 has been rated 76% by 29 critics, however, this rating could shift as additional reviews come in.

Many critics believe that the latest edition surpasses season 3, which holds the lowest rating among the initial three instalments.

In their glowing critique of season 4 of “The Bear“, IGN noted that the latest installments represented a “back-to-basics” approach, hinting at its resemblance to the exceptional quality of the initial two seasons.

In the review, it’s stated that Season 4 of “The Bear” brings the series back to its strong roots, giving equal attention to each character and significant plotlines. Finally, the protagonist Carmy confronts his inner struggles, enabling the restaurant to reach its maximum potential.

The situation involves both monetary and emotional aspects, resulting in a more compelling blend of narrative development and advancement.

However, not all individuals are fully embracing the new plotlines, as Variety highlighted that just because something is “better” doesn’t automatically mean it’s worthwhile.

The positive aspect is that season 4 shows progress compared to its previous seasons… However, it’s important to remember that a restaurant moving from heavy losses to barely making ends meet doesn’t necessarily mean it’s now profitable enough to justify the effort – this seems to be the sentiment in their review.

For the current season of “The Bear”, all principal actors will be returning to their roles. These include Jeremy Allen White portraying Carmy, Ayo Edebiri as Sydney, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach in the character of Richie.

In the United States, all ten episodes of The Bear’s fourth season can be streamed on Hulu. Meanwhile, in the UK, these episodes are accessible on Disney+. Both platforms offer previous seasons of the show as well.
