A recent Overwatch 2 comic, narrated by Ramattra’s voice actor Ramon Tikaram, briefly reveals a glimpse of the game’s next hero, currently known as Hero 45. The character is shown in silhouette, with long hair, a large sword, and what appear to be high heels, observing an explosion.

This scene shows Ramattra explaining to Zenyatta that Talon is filled with people motivated by greed, betrayal, and a desire for power. He believes these flaws will ultimately destroy Talon, and he worries that Talon’s issues could soon become a global crisis.

Okay, so I’m getting a vibe that Hero 45 might be linked to Talon, or maybe even be going *against* them. But honestly, as of right now, we don’t really know anything for sure about their backstory or what they’re planning. Their official story is still a mystery!

Overwatch 2 Hero 45 hints

We believe Hero 45 is probably a gladiator. Blizzard Entertainment seems to have accidentally revealed this through some temporary text that said, “Gladiators Gonna Gladiate.” Additionally, Aaron Keller, the game director for Overwatch 2, suggested during a Twitch stream that Hero 45 might be a close-combat fighter.

During a playtest in April, details emerged about Hero 45. A banner displayed the hero’s outline alongside the Roman numeral “XLV,” and a screenshot revealed the same numeral etched onto their sword’s plaque.

Before that, after the Overwatch 2 showcase in February, a Reddit user named P3runaama posted pictures of a sketch and a statue called “Magnus.”
