Frankenstein – November 7 (Netflix)
After a short time in theaters, the highly anticipated film Frankenstein is now available on Netflix. Directed by acclaimed sci-fi and fantasy director Guillermo del Toro, this movie offers a unique take on Mary Shelley’s classic science fiction story. Oscar Isaac stars as the doctor, and Jacob Elordi plays the creature, in a story about a man who tries to play God and faces the consequences.
Fire And Water: Making The Avatar Films – November 7 (Disney+)
It took ten years for the second Avatar movie to arrive, but the third film, Avatar: Fire and Ash, will be here much sooner. Fans eager for the December release can get a first look with a behind-the-scenes documentary available this week on Disney+.
Materialists HBO – November 7 (HBO Max)
Celine Song’s film Materialists, which came out earlier this year, features a captivating love triangle. Dakota Johnson plays a woman caught between two appealing men: the wealthy and charming Pedro Pascal, and the less affluent, but equally charming, Chris Evans. While the film and its actors received positive reviews, it didn’t become a major box office success, meaning it may have flown under the radar. Now’s a good time to watch it – it’s available on HBO Max.
Pluribus – November 7 (Apple TV+)
It’s easy to feel alone when you’re struggling, but what if you actually were the only unhappy person? That’s the premise of Pluribus, a new series on Apple TV+ from the creator of Breaking Bad, Vince Gilligan. Rhea Seehorn stars as Carol, an author who discovers she’s the only one experiencing unhappiness, leading her to believe something is seriously wrong with everyone else. The series follows Carol as she tries to uncover the truth.
Maxton Hall — The World Between Us Season 2 -November 7 (Prime Video)
It’s challenging to create a successful TV show, but even harder to connect with audiences worldwide. Maxton Hall: The World Between Us became a huge hit, even with viewers who don’t understand German. If you have Prime Video, you can now watch the second season, and good news for fans – a third season is already being made!
2025 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony – November 8 (Disney+)
As a music lover, I’m really excited about what Disney+ offers! They have tons of documentaries and concert films, covering everything from legends to today’s biggest artists. And for the second year running, you can watch the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony right on Disney+. This year’s class is amazing – with artists like Chubby Checker, Cyndi Lauper, and Soundgarden being inducted, I know it’s going to be an incredible show!
As a huge movie and TV fan, I’m really excited about what November has in store! The biggest thing, of course, is the last season of Stranger Things – it’s been a long wait! But honestly, there’s a ton of other great stuff coming out this month too.
