New Netflix thriller with stacked Hollywood cast shares full trailer
The trailer for the forthcoming political thriller titled “Zero Day” has been unveiled by Netflix, featuring a prominent ensemble of actors.
This show features Robert De Niro as its main star, joined by Lizzy Caplan from “Mean Girls”, Jesse Plemons of “Breaking Bad”, Matthew Modine from “Stranger Things”, Angela Bassett known for “Black Panther”, Connie Britton who appeared in “The White Lotus” season 1, and Dan Stevens, a cast member from “Downton Abbey”. According to the preview, the story revolves around a catastrophic cyber-assault causing turmoil nationwide and resulting in numerous fatalities. Subsequently, every mobile device in the country broadcasts the same warning: “Such events will recur.
In reaction, the government authorizes an immediate action team to apprehend anyone they believe is associated with the incident, bypassing the requirement for a warrant in these cases.
Previously held President George Mullen (De Niro) was assigned to lead the mission, with the warning that revealing its existence could result in public disapproval and potential backlash.
Yet, he finds himself at the center of speculations suggesting he harbors numerous hidden secrets. Are these merely fabrications intended to hinder him from safeguarding the nation, or are they truths on the verge of being revealed? It appears this saga will leave us questioning all along…
It’s great news! Instead of having to wait for each new episode individually over a week, all six episodes are set to release on February 20th simultaneously.
The release of the trailer coincides with some not-so-pleasant news from Netflix, as they’ve disclosed an upward adjustment in prices for their services in various regions, affecting all subscription tiers. Fortunately, we are currently exempted from this price rise in the UK, but only temporarily.
Zero Day will be released on Netflix on February 20.
