New Love Island contestant REVEALED after Kyle Ashman was axed from the line-up following machete attack arrest

It’s been announced that Conor Phillips will be joining the cast of Love Island, following news that Kyle Ashman was removed from the show on Tuesday night.

23-year-old resident of Stafford disrupted the event dramatically following allegations by The Sun that he had been implicated in a machete assault incident in February, where a group of masked individuals burst into a wake and viciously attacked a father with a knife.

Kyle was one of two arrested by police but he was released with no further action.

Now, it’s been made clear that Conor will step in at the last moment before Monday’s premiere episode.

A 25-year-old professional rugby player from Limerick is eager to meet the ideal partner and is seeking someone who is confident, driven, proactive, and fun to be around, with a great sense of humor. Preference for dark eyes and openness towards a strong, assertive woman.

In the lead-up to the series, Conor disclosed his top pet peeve: ‘Excessive clinging or the necessity to engage in every activity simultaneously.’

‘I appreciate it when people prefer to act on their own initiatives, yet still value shared experiences with me.’

After it was announced that Kyle would be departing the villa due to personal matters, Conor then joined the show.

According to the reports, Kyle stated that he wasn’t involved in the incident, yet he decided to step down from the ITV program anyway.

He informed TopMob, “I worked closely with the police during their investigation and made it absolutely clear that I held no part in this occurrence.

‘I am not a violent person and any suggestion otherwise is a mischaracterisation.’

Additionally, ITV announced that due to personal matters, Kyle won’t be joining the Love Island Villa as initially intended.

On Tuesday, the cast for Love Island was revealed, meaning that Kyle’s exit is likely to cause confusion just before the premiere on Monday.

It’s been disclosed that the Sun informed superiors about Kyle being interrogated regarding an assault, but ITV claimed they hadn’t been apprised of the situation, and he didn’t show up as a concern during the contestant screenings.

On February 28th, a 38-year-old individual came extremely close to losing his arm following an event that required urgent hospitalization. He retained his arm for approximately two weeks during this hospital stay.

In my latest exploration of local happenings, it appears that an unfortunate incident unfolded at The White Eagle Club in Stafford. Unfortunately, a skirmish occurred which resulted in one individual being struck by glass, another with a metal rod, and two more getting run over by a vehicle, all within a span of 15 minutes. A sobering reminder of the importance of maintaining peace and safety in our communities.

Sources said the victim was attacked by three balaclava-clad thugs over an alleged £3,000 debt.

He sustained an injury from a sharp object, causing a significant cut and damaging his tendons, leaving him currently incapable of driving.

Yesterday, police announced that an investigation from last month found neither Kyle nor the other person involved required any additional action; they have since been released.

According to a trustworthy informant, ITV wasn’t aware of Kyle’s previous history because no charges were filed against him. Since he hadn’t been indicted, this information didn’t come up during the thorough background checks conducted for Love Island.

It’s fair that he can now go back to the UK to tell his perspective, so they decided it would be more appropriate for him not to join the villa.

On Monday, the Staffordshire Police announced that a 22-year-old local resident of Stafford was taken into custody under suspicion of inflicting injuries and inciting disturbances. Additionally, another 22-year-old man, also from Stafford, was apprehended on charges of causing disturbances.

‘Both were questioned in custody and bailed with conditions while our enquiries continue.’

Love Island returns Monday 9th June at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX
