The new HBO Max series is created and overseen by Francesca Gardiner, drawing from J.K. Rowling’s popular books. Mark Mylod directs multiple episodes and also serves as an executive producer, working alongside Brontë Film and TV and Warner Bros. Television. J.K. Rowling, Neil Blair, Ruth Kenley-Letts, and David Heyman are all executive producers on the show. Plans are for the series to run for ten seasons, closely following the storylines of the original books.
