This week, I stumbled upon yet another potential game-breaker in Dota 2, and it’s none other than that irritating character, Morphling. Unfortunately, he’s been causing trouble once more.

Although the situation that triggers this bug doesn’t occur often, it can significantly influence a game as time passes, especially since Morphling can accumulate large amounts of gold due to his abilities, Alchemist and his feature, Seed Money.

On May 4th, a video showcasing a glitch in action was posted by a Dota 2 player on the game’s subreddit. This glitch is tricky to recreate in real-life play due to its specific setup, but should it happen again, you might find yourself wishing for a ‘surrender’ option in Dota 2.

In this game scenario, it’s important to choose an Alchemist character rather than a Morphling one. The Alchemist player will then opt for the “Seed Money Aspect,” which provides an additional 250 gold coins at the onset of the game.

Should all conditions align, once Morphling obtains his ultimate at level six and employs the Morph ability on Alchemist, Morphling will be rewarded with a direct 250 gold bonus as if he had just entered the game with the Seed Money Facet active.

As a devoted fan, I’ve discovered an exciting aspect about Morphling in Dota 2. His ability, Morph, can be utilized repeatedly before its ultimate expires, granting him a substantial gold boost even before the 10-minute mark is hit. This gold rush, combined with regular farming, gives this hyper-carry an outrageous early advantage that makes him almost unstoppable!

As a long-time admirer of Morphling, I can’t help but notice the sneaky tricks his Morph ability seems to play from time to time.
