New episodes of underrated Netflix hit branded ‘best of new teen dramas’ are now available to stream

At long last, the day has arrived for enthusiasts of the series ‘Ginny & Georgia’! You can start streaming season three on Netflix right away.

The comedy show has shown tremendous success on the streaming platform, attracting both viewers and critics who label it as one of the top modern takes on teen dramas.

Antonia Gentry and Brianne Howey portray the mother-daughter pair, Ginny and Georgia Miller, who journey to New England for the purpose of starting afresh following decades spent evading their past.

In a nutshell, the Netflix summary says that Georgia, who is lively and free-thinking, along with her children, Ginny and Austin, decide to venture northward in pursuit of a fresh start. However, they discover that the journey towards new beginnings can sometimes be filled with unexpected hurdles.

The ensemble features Diesel La Torraca, portraying Georgia’s son and Austin, her half-brother with whom Ginny shares a family bond; additionally, Scott Parker steps into the role of Mayor Paul Randolph, instantly forming a relationship with Georgia.

In February 2021, the series titled “Ginny & Georgia” made its premiere on Netflix, and just two months afterwards, it received confirmation for a follow-up season.

In January 2023, Season 2 became available on Netflix, and it garnered an impressive 81% audience rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Many viewers expressed that they found the subsequent season superior to the first one.

In May 2023, it was officially confirmed by the streaming service that a third series would air, as they completed filming for the next installment in September of the previous year.

In the third season, two fresh faces join the cast – Ty Doran from ‘Manifest’, portraying Wolfe, a relaxed student in Ginny’s poetry class, and Noah Lamanna, known for his role in ‘Star Trek: Strange New Worlds’, who takes on the character of Tris, a skateboarding buddy of Marcus and Silver.

Regarding the anticipation for season 3, its creator, Sarah Lampert, has hinted that fans should brace themselves for an exhilarating journey, or in simpler terms, hold on tight for a thrilling rollercoaster ride.
